Vote Community Chest

I've just taken a look at a board thanks to Google Images. Virginia Avenue is directly next to Pennsylvania Railroad. We know from Nol's opening scene that the railroad barons are bad guys. Could EP be making a traitor signal to the scum here?

So, is this a majority that only has ten votes here? Or are we seeing vote control for which card to choose?

Chance got 11 votes.

No, Chance got ten votes but was counted as getting eleven. I voted for community chest and Nol marked me down as voting for chance, and kept me as voting for chance straight through to the hammer. So either Nol messed up, or my vote was stolen.

Interesting.

Although, I'd like to hear from Song/Dice who hasn't posted at all or from Lessa who last posted on page 10 saying she was checking in/catching up. It's page 22 for me right now. What's happenin?

oh right. well this is a very interesting mistake on Nolder's part. But either way, don't you think that it would have come out majority for chance anyway?

If he had counted my vote correctly from the beginning, Community Chest would have had a larger train than it did and Chance a smaller one, so some people may have voted it just to get a majority. There's no way to tell what would have happened.

Nolder, just to clarify, after this night, will we be in "Day 3" of the game?

After this night you will be in Night 2

After that you will be in Day 3

Nol, I voted for community chest.

Uh oh...

I hope that's not true but I'll double check it right now

Well damn

Ok here is what we are going to do

It is Day 1 again but we are still voting for Chance, Community Chest, or neither

I am taking the card we already chose out of commission so no matter which option you choose you will never pick that card again

I'm really sorry guys

I only just now noticed the timing between my vote and your first vote count to include me. If I'd been around for another 3-4 minutes this morning, it looks like all this would have been avoided. (However, that would also involve me not getting to work on time.)

As for the other thing, why are you being cryptic about it? Is there something restricting you from being able to go into detail about that?

I am still trying to decide what to think about what happened. It was either a really dumb idea for a townie to try, or a horrible move for mafia to make. Unless it was a calculated move, and I don't know what he would have been trying to gain by it.

My original intent was to wait it out a bit and see what happens, see if I could glean any additional information. If I was killed N1, the other individual who knows the whole story would know who to put the spotlight on. However, knowing that we ALMOST just lost our D2 and not knowing what the other cards will do, there's a very real possibility that if it was a bad scum slip, my partner and I could both be dead very quickly. I will go ahead and put the information out there. Like I said, I don't know what to make of it, which is why I haven't said anything.

I am a property owner who has a neighbor that is a trusted friend - I will leave it up to said neighbor if they want to reveal now or hold off. My role PM makes it clear that we are both town, and we were sent a link to a QT that we both assumed at first was a mason QT. I admit I didn't read my PM quite carefully enough to understand that it was an invitation to a meeting. I re-read it later because I was quite alarmed at what happened next.

Lenlo showed up in that meeting quite unexpectedly, twirling a cane, stroking an imaginary mustache, and talking about trying to take over the game board. What would you think of that?

After my partner and I went silent, he tried to prod us into speaking by saying this was supposed to be a meeting between rich and poor, and he suspected the rich people to be scum and the poor to be town, and figured one of us was scum. This did not at all match the description of the meeting we were given. The impression I got from the text in my role PM was that we might be able to pull something over on Mr. Monopoly. I don't know whether that means we were actually to be meeting WITH Mr. Monopoly, or we were given a meeting with someone else entirely for the purposes of plotting against him, but there was nothing at all about rich and poor in what we had been told. And if the game setup is Mr. Monopoly and the railroad barons vs. the other property owners, I see no place for someone to be designated as "poor" in the meeting.

I'm not sure whether Nolder was trying to shake things up by giving a mason team a meeting with some random other person and giving us different descriptions of the meeting, and Len just pulled a boneheaded move to come into the meeting with that little bit of RP... or whether Lenlo is actually Mr. Monopoly and made a really bad decision to hint at his character in the meeting. All I know is that if I die and it turns out that Len was mafia, I'd feel like a complete idiot for not putting out there what I suspect.

But there you have it.

I am baffled by this but thank you for sharing.
