Buffalo, New York born and bread. Winters a bloody cold and I can;t stand it anymore lol. Figure I would be used to it by now right? No. Bring on the heat! goin to be 92 today. Up here, that is damn bloody hot but you will NEVER hear me complain about it. Perfect for a cold beer and a game of horse shoes.

I got used to it. I don't know I it was just colder in NY where I was raised... the pavement is icy in winter, goes right through your shoes and up your spine... or if shoes and clothes are just warmer... srsly, you can't imagine how much the world has changed in a few decades... and all wheel and font wheel drive have made driving possible...

but whatever it is... winters a lot easier than I remember.. and you can always dress warmer, but without AC or water... you're just stuck with heat.

sadly always Buffalo. lol JK. Love this place. Bass ackwards most of the time, stubborn to a fault and resistant to change. lol Though, lately, seems like the ones who fought change so much have steadily been dying off or left in one of the mass exodus that has been going on here in the last ten years because things are ACTUALLY getting better lol. Since 2000, 3.5 people have left Buffalo each day. That's a lot of people leaving hahahaha, and looks like for the better. A lot of development going on at our water front (finally) and we are becoming quite a foody destination. I lived in Connecticut for a year when i was 6-7 yrs old and then back to Buffalo. Since then I have been a frickin SoBo nomad. Have not lived in the same house for more than two years at a time lol, Lived all over my City.

sounds like Binghamton in the nineties. it's just a wasteland now. best jobs are in social welfare programs, which really says something about a place. I live over the border and commute to one of those jobs, one of the fifty thousand or more who left, tho most don't have jobs to commute to here. IBM did us good.

here, you need a few years to understand what he's singing

Crash on the levee, mama

Water's gonna overflow

Swamp's gonna rise

No boat's gonna row

Now, you can train on down

To Williams Point

You can bust your feet

You can rock this joint

But oh mama, ain't you gonna miss your best friend now ?

You're gonna have to find yourself

Another best friend, somehow.

Now, don't you try an' move me

You're just gonna lose

There's a crash on the levee

And mama, you've been refused

Well, it's sugar for sugar

And salt for salt

If you go down in the flood

It's gonna be your own fault

Oh mama, ain't you gonna miss your best friend now ?

You're gonna have to find yourself

Another best friend, somehow.

Well, that high tide's risin'

Mama, don't you let me down

Pack up your suitcase

Mama, don't you make a sound

Now, it's king for king

Queen for queen

It's gonna be the meanest flood

That anybody's seen

Oh mama, ain't you gonna miss your best friend now ?

You're gonna have to find yourself

Another best friend, somehow.
