Mynd and Ishy gave big enough hints themselves, I called Ishy out on his early hinting, but since I knew who he was I stepped up to bat for him. I didn't like Mynd's reveal but I thought about it and pressured him on it some and I think he help up to the pressure well enough that I can buy it for now so where did anyone reveal some who wasnt themselves? if you do not know the source you still don't know who they are, but if you do know the source you probably know who they are.

Would it be scummy to merely do this? Instead of claiming which FF you're from, just state which console you're from. SNES, PSOne, PS2, or PS3? That could keep it vague enough while still sharing something.

2) He is going after a player who has freely admitted to having an EXTENSIVE knowledge of Final Fantasy canon, in case you missed it.

He IS mafia and ridiculously so. Those of you who remember the Labyrinth game - I named them ALL on the first day, remember.

 

For second use of the word squirming and ridiculous agreeing with EP frntic 'crap she voted for me and i am mafia' vote of me - I also name Peace as being on the Mafia team. I also thought his 'why elsse would anyone else vote you epic' and when he is coronored as mafia later in the game I may make him a siggy with that quote on.

you still assume their is an LD subtle role fishing? I don't know of any FF character that could fit an LD role so I doubt there is one in the game anyways

it is a quite common role, but day 1 is a bit soon to bet on it, the only reason I could think of to push a LD possibility on day 1 is if you are a silvertongue.

Ithi, I think you're pushing a little hard on EP, though I think you're both just blasting back at each other based on little. Ithi is coming off as too defensive. Also, just because you named "all the mafia" on some other game means nothing here, new game, different players, different circumstance. I think using that as a reason to vote EP is fail.

I haven't picked up any hints. I'm not immensely familiar with the source material. I've played four games. The most recent about a year ago. Also all total I've seen about 30min of the movie. So I'm not an expert.

 

I'm against revealing because

 

1) it's day 1 we haven't had chance to play the game

 

2) Mafia could determine power roles from reveals. (probably not this game however. ;) )

 

3) there is no reason to reveal ATM mafia can also pick out a good fake claim depending on what characters have been revealed, there most likely wouldn't be a counter claim with the vast amount of characters in the series.

 

Mynd I'm surprised your pushing for a reveal this early when the benefits don't measure up to the cost. Why tip your hand this early.

 

If everyone wants to reveal I'd say do it systematically from top to bottom or bottom to top, so as to stand a better chance of catching mafia. I'm however not advocating this course of actions. Just if you are gunna do it. Do it correctly.

They are playing to bold so they aren't scum. Unless they are scum and are playing bold to shake suspicion. I always play bold regardless. If I have something to say I say it. So I don't really put much stock in that kind of logic.

Jack makes sense as far as avoiding reveals for the most part (Though your recent response to EP doesn't make sense, since you were specifically in a conversation with Mynd and didn't reference EP or Ithi... therefore how can EP be twisting anything?). Mynd wants info from everyone ASAP, which is out of the spirit of what Kae seems to want. I found it interesting that Kae made it clear that mass reveals nearly ruined a previous game and yet people still are gung-ho about it. So settle down Mynd and find a different plot to push people's buttons with that doesn't involve gaming the mod and twisting the rules.

 

Ithi is playing way weird. Since she's apparently giving up on another game but not this one. I haven't seen the normal substance in her posts that make me believe her casings.
