it is a quite common role, but day 1 is a bit soon to bet on it, the only reason I could think of to push a LD possibility on day 1 is if you are a silvertongue.

I'd heard of Lie Detector before the Labyrinth game but not Silvertongue. My Sith game had a Lie detector but no silvertongue. Apparently if the the Mafia Team have a known Silvertongue it makes it likely there is a THU 14 JUN 2012 in the game so they are more careful with their statements

 

EP is worried now. Pandy came out briefly to defend and then vanished. Peace is still pushing EP's ridiculous case against me.

no I don't like him claiming and then saying it should not count as a reveal because it effectively elliminates all but 8 people in the entire franchise, either he is fake claiming (which I believe is the case) or he is putting no effort into the game which I do not think is the case.

 

Ok, a lot of speculation is being tossed around, most of it laughable, but this caught my eye.

 

Why is Eternal Phoenix afraid of narrowing down ourselves by FF Chapter? As those who are not skimming the game but actually reading understand, I claimed the FF Chapter of my character with the understanding that it was vague enough to not count as a reveal. A polite and respectful objection to the mod was made and she concurred that it did not count. So, I am still not sure where the problem is....unless EP and a few others are upset about being narrowed down.

 

I mean, if we have six players from XII and as we progress, three of them are revealed to be Vaan, Penelo, and Fran then we have a pretty good idea that among the other three, one has to be a boss (aka. Vayne or Cid). It baffles me that people play this game with emotion rather than logic. Claiming our FF Chapters does not waste reveals but it does help us sort who is who.

 

What raised my eyebrow about EP's statement is that he presents only two of several possibilities, as one who is pushing blindly on a case out of fear. He has made up his mind to lynch me, but he just wants to rally support before he pushes forward. He insults the other players in this game by assuming they would agree with him rather than forming their own opinions. I have not claimed a player at all. I have only claimed the FF Chapter (or franchise? Story? Episode?) that my character belongs.

 

As far as my effort, I think that was simply stated to get some kind of reaction out of me. I'm not sure what he bases this opinion on.

 

No Mynd I am not voting you because if you are telling the truth I know exactly who you are based on Kae, I'm a HUGE FF nerd. I just don't know whether to trust you or not yet hence me stating reasons not to trust you. again, I have still yet to vote anyone in this game but there have been several things that have come off as odd.

Actually EP, to me any playable character in FF is a main character. Every main boss is a main character, including Espers. Like I said, I only claimed what series I am from. If that narrows it down for you, then you must also be from the same series.

 

Red seems like she's trying to act Red rather than be Red. She posts another WOT after I called her out on it, yet its much more playful and spaztic. One could guess that she's scum trying to make up for a guilty conscience.

 

As far as claiming, I have come around on the whole character claiming thing, it does spoil some otherwise great games; however, there is a difference between claiming a character and simply stating which FF series your character is from for the purposes of sorting us. I find it quite revealing that only a handful of players are trying to say that this is a scum play when it can only help the town.

 

no it narrows it down because I know who is playable in 13 I've played almost every FF, plus I remember a certain siggy Kae used to have...

Also you seem fairly confident that we are only asigned main characters, did you get a memo I did not? last I checked we are not all main characters. maybe playable characters and bosses but not all main characters and bosses.

 

How do you know which characters we are? How do you know what characters anyone is? No-one has died yet - unless I missed something last night. You must be on a team to know anything for sure about anyone else's character.

oh and further down the same page Ithi votes me for knowing other characters, I know who I am and pretty sure I know who Mynd is and am almost positive I know who Ishy is, so either you are calling us all scum because I know FF or you are scum for trying to reach and ignore my previously stated reasoning for figuring out who they were.

So basically, it boils down to the fact that she's not familiar with the source material and is asking him why he thinks he knows who other people's characters are. I think that's a completely bogus reason for a vote - because in every game, there's bound to be someone that doesn't know the source material that well, so by that theory, when anyone unfamiliar with source material asks that question, they are scum.

 

As to how EP thinks he knows Mynd's character, I think that's toeing the line of gaming the mod. And when he calls Ithi out for assuming that we all got main characters, he points out that there is a distinction between playable characters and bosses and main characters and bosses. Again, with the assumption that everyone's as familiar with the source material as he is.

also, your right that the PR woudln't be a good reason to limit my posting IF i knew the source material. the only reason i know as much i do abotu the series is because i'm an avid gammer and a lover of RPGs. i've tried to find a 100 reasons FF is awesome/epic/great/outstanding/ect site but all i coudl find was 10 reason. most are sites about why FF sucks. as such, you've pretty much posted the rest of the PR stuff i had planned to write and i'm waiting on clarify if its okay for me to post similar things to what you said or if it woudl result in a MK. if Kae doesn't allow it, there there are few things i can say abotu the game series after this post
