I've only played a few games with this guy but every time I remember him being straight forward, direct and aggressive. Seems like he's using other peoples arguments to push a lynch without trying to draw too much attention to himself.

I don't see Red as flying under the radar and you supplying her with items to fulfill her PR requirement makes me suspicious. She's provided reasoning and cases. Maybe not to the extent that she normally does, but I haven't seen a proper casing from you either. So I find it hypocritical of you to say that Red is hiding behind a PR when you haven't exactly cased either. Not to mention I think it's bad form to be helping her fulfill her PR - the point is that it is a RESTRICTION - she has to remember to include a sentence like those you supplied with each post, and it's supposed to be a challenge (albeit a slight one in this case). I'm sure she'll appreciate the list, but I dislike how you've eased the burden on Red.

 

Just curious as to why Jack and Ishy want themselves to be mentioned in a Red wall of text. Considering how Red likes to FoS the entire group of players, I'm a little curious as to how they escaped the all encompassing FoS.

 

Maw, in my opinion, threw out an awful reason to vote Mynd that basically boiled down to the fact that Mynd is Mynd, but I'm not convinced that he's scum. I'm getting more of a lazy townie read from him at the moment. And any reason for that quote you just posted, Maw?

 

My reason for voting Ishy was due to the fact that he had slipped in the hint about his character and that I believed that he had used a reveal. Now that it's been made clear that he did not use a reveal, I am going to Unvote.

no I don't like him claiming and then saying it should not count as a reveal because it effectively elliminates all but 8 people in the entire franchise, either he is fake claiming (which I believe is the case) or he is putting no effort into the game which I do not think is the case.

 

Ok, a lot of speculation is being tossed around, most of it laughable, but this caught my eye.

 

Why is Eternal Phoenix afraid of narrowing down ourselves by FF Chapter? As those who are not skimming the game but actually reading understand, I claimed the FF Chapter of my character with the understanding that it was vague enough to not count as a reveal. A polite and respectful objection to the mod was made and she concurred that it did not count. So, I am still not sure where the problem is....unless EP and a few others are upset about being narrowed down.

 

I mean, if we have six players from XII and as we progress, three of them are revealed to be Vaan, Penelo, and Fran then we have a pretty good idea that among the other three, one has to be a boss (aka. Vayne or Cid). It baffles me that people play this game with emotion rather than logic. Claiming our FF Chapters does not waste reveals but it does help us sort who is who.

 

What raised my eyebrow about EP's statement is that he presents only two of several possibilities, as one who is pushing blindly on a case out of fear. He has made up his mind to lynch me, but he just wants to rally support before he pushes forward. He insults the other players in this game by assuming they would agree with him rather than forming their own opinions. I have not claimed a player at all. I have only claimed the FF Chapter (or franchise? Story? Episode?) that my character belongs.

 

As far as my effort, I think that was simply stated to get some kind of reaction out of me. I'm not sure what he bases this opinion on.

 

No Mynd I am not voting you because if you are telling the truth I know exactly who you are based on Kae, I'm a HUGE FF nerd. I just don't know whether to trust you or not yet hence me stating reasons not to trust you. again, I have still yet to vote anyone in this game but there have been several things that have come off as odd

I think Kae was very kind to you. You said about claiming which game your character came from and she did say in the Thread that this would count as a reveal. You then revealed anyways.

 

When you were asked about this you had a moan at Kae and she changed her mind, but the rest of us who were unhappy did not know that she would do this.

Perhaps those of you who were unhappy about it have something to hide.

 

Kae is kind and generous, but don't mistake her own logic and reasoning for doing me any kind of favor. That's bordering on questioning her fairness, which is an insult to the mod. Kae made her decision because it was the right and fair call to make, not because it was any kind of generosity. And if her decision was to count it as a reveal, why would that upset you?

 

What keeps someone from claiming the wrong FF? How do you ferret that out?

 

Nothing at first, but as you know, making a claim pins one to it to endgame. As finders and coroners reveal info, a scum lying about their FF will likely eventually be hung by it at some point. There are only so many main characters (good/bad) in each FF, so as we progress, it will likely become evident who is a LLL and who isn't in regards to their claim. If I claimed to be from X-2, and Paine, Rikku, Yuna, Gippal, Nooj, and Taylor Hicks were already revealed or claimed in some way, would you still believe me to be town? Judging by my character and that this game likely covers all of the 13 FF games, It would be reasonable to assume only major characters are in play.

 

Also you seem fairly confident that we are only asigned main characters, did you get a memo I did not? last I checked we are not all main characters. maybe playable characters and bosses but not all main characters and bosses.

and I don't disagree with the claiming of games, but your logic is fundementally flawed, You can play as Seipher in ff8 who is neither a main character on your team nor a final boss, there are several other instances in the stories, like the guy that you play as in the begining of 12 before switching to Vaan iirc he dies in that opening section. I'm just discrediting your theory not the game reveal as you may feel it limits the number of claims but it really does not limit it near as much as you'd assume

How do you know which characters we are? How do you know what characters anyone is? No-one has died yet - unless I missed something last night. You must be on a team to know anything for sure about anyone else's character.

Of course I am. I'm the only person posting at the moment. I haven't really said anything this game, as has been already pointed out - but if that nothing is the most mafia-ish thing in the game then fair enough lol.

 

In fact the only thing I've actually said that was proper game worthy was that you saying I'm a bit mafia because I can't pick up on subtle hints about a game I don't know all that well, is a little reaching on your own part.
