not really because most of the time if you ask them they'll avoid saying it even if they are town

this only makes the meta stronger though

Oh, I'm not denying it's annoying as hell and breaks the spirit of the game, especially when you feel the need to go "I never lie so you can always trust what I say!" That's why I try to lynch those people D1.

Anyway, the problem seemed to be more that people who have that meta and then go "Hey I'm town!" are autoclear. When you have a role like cop and go "Hey I'm cop X is mafia" that is basically the same thing as saying "I'm town." People who don't feel it necessary to parade it about aren't a problem.

Its all part of the gamesmanship.

Almost everything I do as town, is done to facilitate epic scum play. So if I chose to be Honest Ape as a townie, so that when I was scum I could dominate... that is gamesmanship.

Ultimately, it doesn't matter what people say, so much as what they DO that gets them lynched, or not. Amekagabagaba for example, in this game used a lie to create a train on me. He says he wasn't opposed to Christine's lynch, but what he did was lie in order to create a train that might derail Christine's. So who cares what he said, its the appearance of what he DID that matters.

Aww, and I was all worried I'd miss something important in all the pages that popped up since I last posted.

I know the feeling. My grades are going to suffer from this game, I can already tell.

My guess is, he's planning on using it to lynch Amega D3, or perhaps he's just got a terminal case of "must have the last word" syndrome. Both of them appear to in this case, although I think Amega's finally stopped arguing and giving him additional rope with which to be hanged.

So...Songstress

send in night kills in lately?

Not since Kae's game. Why, are you worried you're on my short list?

My guess is one of the less active people who hasn't checked in lately has a NA to submit.

Speaking of night... I should be asleep. But I'm enjoying being caught up on this thread at the moment, and by the time I get up in the morning the early birds will have given me at least a page or two of spam to sort through.
