We do need to start the voting though, one way or the other. I am tempted to vote for someone that hasn't voted often, but don't really feel it's fair if a person hasn't posted before. There could be a number of reasons and, oh well, people will suspect me for supporting an underdog, I just know it.

Well one thing you have to consider about those who have not posted much is the content in their posts. Some might have said something that could lead to a good accusation of someone. You have to take time and weigh what every one has said. See if someone changed their action style from one post to another. Also, people who have been evils recently, might be a good place to start thinking about. You shouldn't just be like, oh, you're inactive and you played before. Plus, you have to look at it that RL plays a role into how much people can post. Like during the week, I am gone during the day and by the time I get back there is about 2 pages of new posts. Then when I post most aren't on here due to time zone differences. So, as I stated before you have to look at the big picture.

While I agree that inactive innocents near the end is not good, I'm thinking DJ's got the right of it. Time differences mean that some people come back to pages of new posts and then no one replies while they're online ... so they only get a word in every few pages. And you can't lynch people for having RL committments.

 

For example, the reason I didn't post until after your post about lynching inactives, Raena ... is because it was already there when I got back from camp

I don't think anyone gives anything away anyway. So most of the lynching are probably just guesses and the chances of getting a werewolf are heavily stacked against us.

Sure, there are reasons for and against lynching the quiet ones, but we've got nothing on anyone else and at least those reasons in favour do exist. If you've got another lynch candidate, by all means, speak up. Otherwise, I'm voting loki redfern to get this game rolling.

I still need to go back and read through all of the posts and see what I notice before I go and vote. But as an aside, maybe those who are posting a lot are just trying to sneak under the "let's vote for the inactives" idea. It could be them who is a werewolf.

I tend to agree with DJ, but Sira is the only person to put forward someone as a vote for the moment. I have read through the posts and I can't really see anything in them as yet. Sometimes the way people vote is a way of seeing what they are, but seeing as this is the first time for voting... Still no evidence :p

 

So... I'm just going to join with Sira so we can get this game rolling. Sorry loki redfern since this is your first game, but if you keep reading you might learn how to play and really be ready for the next game. (in case that wasn't clear, I'm voting to lynch loki redfern)

maybe we should vote for the most active ones, they might have more to say because they're trying to persuade the rest of us they arent "de la lycanthrope". that seem to make more sense to me. except for the dude because he's a lefty like me. and i like people who dont want to lynch me too. meanie lynch people. alternatively hunches are probably the best thing i'm guessing.

Well seeing as nobody has made any further specific suggestions, I'm going to applaud Sira's initiative and keep my vote for now. I'd like to get to the next day already so that we can do more than just guess.

It is an initiative, but I'm still not convinced. Based on what I've read so far i'm more inclined to vote for someone that is posting a lot, as it is easier to hide in many posts than it is to be singled out by not posting often. True, timezones make it awkward sometimes and real life can make it a pain. *shrugs* The first vote is always the hardest. That's why I'm not going to go with the flow and vote for Zylazlo- as he started off by posting a lot and when the fingers started being pointed and the posts counted, he's not posted as often. Could be real life...

The reason for lynching an inactive rather than an active player is that it is most likely that we get a villager whatever we do, and an inactive villager doesn't contribute anything to the game. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to lynch a villager, it's just that you have to choose the lesser of two evils.

This early in the game I don't think it's likely to get a werewolf feeling for anyone, unless the wolf is really obvious.

 

That being said, I'm going to vote for loki redfern too. Hopefully we'll have something more to go on tomorrow.

Well, if RL is getting in Zy's way, I sympathize with him, I have so much going on, it's a wonder I have time to be your mayor...oh btw Griefy, I've been mayor since Game 2, and will continue to be indefinately, and go look at the priest thread...I was Henry V in disguise.

for my vote...I was thinking of voting Zy...but as I said in my above post, I sympathize with him...we both aren't able to get on much, and I belive it is RL with him. I'm not quite sure, but I am inclined to vote loki redfern as well.
