in an attempt to sniff out the seer or angel, those silly wolfies decided to murder wintermist... sadly, when they discovered she was just another villager, they spread her body parts all across fiddleton, leaving her head in the town square's fountain.

It's now day three. Players left:

Day one lynch: loki (1). Night one kill: Tessa. Day two lynch: GoodGrief. Night two kill: Winter Mist.

 

We still have a seer and an angel alive. The seer has had two nights to investigate; presuming that neither of his or her investigation results turned up guilty, we now have a vote block of the seer and two confirmed innocents, plus the angel is hidden somewhere. There is a voting block of four. Five is required for a lynch. You need to convince only one innocent. Therefore, as I stated earlier should be our plan, I propose that the seer role reveal now and preferably out the two investigated innocents as well.

 

Why out the innocents? Several reasons ...

- All players named in this manner can cry healer. It's most likely that the angel will choose to protect the seer at night, but the possibility that he or she may target a confirmed innocent at random should keep the werewolves off them.

- If not, too bad. The roleless innocent should be willing to take the bullet for the good roles on occasion.

- The voting block is outed easily.

- We can pick lynches and suggest possible investigation targets for tonight based on the real facts.

 

If one or both of your confirmed innocents are dead, please carefully consider the numbers and decide for yourself whether to reveal. I would advise not revealing and not naming your investigation targets unless you have the two of them. Of course, if you hit a guilty at any time, reveal right now and we'll have them swinging in no time.

 

PS: I read back over the last 5-6 pages for posts by Winter Mist and got the following points: she talked about suspecting the dude and she voted for Zylazlo. We should consider these two today along with other suspicions people have. I would suggest possibly Zylazlo on account of Raena's earlier suspicions. But this is dependent on what the seer says.

So did they kill her because she was on to Zylazlo? Or is that just what they want us to believe? Looking at the votes, the other ones who voted for Zy was Griefy and DJ. Griefy was lynched, and Misty is dead.

But then again, the werewolves might have some completely different reason for killing her than who she voted for.

Let's assume for a moment that Zylazlo is evil. He was fingered by GoodGrief and Winter Mist - not to mention you, O Raena my beloved. The werewolves assisted us in lynching GoodGrief and then killed Winter Mist.

 

You, I, Zylazlo, Kadere, Danya and the dude voted to lynch GoodGrief. If it was a cover-up over her suspicions of Zylazlo, we're looking at other werewolves being one or two out of Kadere, Danya and the dude. At least that's assuming we're both innocent - I can only assure you that I am, and I dare say you'd say the same to me. ;)

Oh, I'm innocent alright :P Though I wouldn't trust my suspicions, they haven't been correct so far. Right now I'm not really sure what to think. Zylazlo is not free of suspicion in my eyes, even though he wanted the seer to investigate him so badly. He could either trust that the seer wouldn't investigate him because of this, or take the risk to be revealed.

I don't know if the fact that goldeneys didn't vote (and seems like he's disappeared) is an attempt to stay under the radar or something else.

I'm innocent... even though everything is clearly pointing to me now, so I'll just say what I gotta say, I think it might be goldy too, he voted Griefy after the last vote was placed (during the loki lynch)... he was trying to prove something... just not sure what.

sorry guys, RL can get pretty hectic, the only way I could get anything done was to stay away from here for a few days. sooo what's happeni- what??? well, I suppose everyone is under suspicion, but I can assure you that I, your mayor am innocent. At this point no one is free of suspicion in my eyes, though I do feel better about the dude than anyone else. But could it be that the two who left were werewolves? is that how they got replacements so quick? Only time will tell.

I am still leaning towards Zy as I have been from the beginning, but Goldy doesn't sound like a bad choice either. I will have to ponder this for a bit.

i still think it's strange that the people who did picked grify over zy. there's a coulpe who might have been going with the flow, zy seem'd/seems more wolfy than grify. but then i'm new at this what do i know. other than i didnt get a villager lynched yet.

Not lynching an innocent isn't all that hard on day two when you were the first day's lynch. :P

1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 have posted. Either the seer is one out of Kadere and Danya - which would tie in with something I've been thinking about, much as goldeneys is, which is is there a reason why Lukys (now Danya) and Nevare (now loki) were replaced instead of modkilled - or the seer has already posted but doesn't buy that they should reveal right now. Possibly because they think it's a bad plan or possibly because the situation fits one of the conditions I mentioned for not revealing, such as one or both of their investigation targets now being dead.

 

I'll wait for Kadere and Danya to chime in before I assume that 1-2 night targets are dead. Personally I think I was the first night's target so I guess it's possible that either GoodGrief or Winter Mist was an investigation target. Draw whatever conclusions you like from that.

 

I'd like to point out something else for if the finder is wavering on whether to reveal.

 

Day three: 9 players = 6 innocents + 3 werewolves

Day four: 7 players = 4 innocents + 3 werewolves

Day five: 5 players = 2 innocents + 3 werewolves

 

Assuming a continued 100% innocent death rate, evil majority will occur on day five. Tomorrow is the endgame. Players from the first werewolf game will remember what an evil player does if there's a hidden seer in the endgame! Last time the evil team won. Don't be the poor dead innocent.

now, what would you suggest to the seer if one of their investigations is indeed dead? in that circumstance, what's the ideal reveal time?

Remembering that tomorrow is the endgame has upped my reading of the urgency drastically. Reveal - definitely reveal. Even if you don't have a decent voting block, the angel will protect you, the werewolves will be forced to agree with you or look suspicious, and we can have the thoughts of at least one confirmed innocent.

 

Otherwise we're screwed. I think.

i'm the seer. i viewed sirayn on the first day, and winter mist last night. this doesn't give us much though, does it?
