*smiles* now we're all sappy! LOL

We're taking the girls to the beach tomorrow! Peanut graduated from Pre-K today and we took her to Monkey Joe's to bounce around. She started complaining of a headache and saying her throat hurt, so we left and went home. About two miles from the house, she threw up all over my truck. This is pretty much how ever Friday for the last six weeks has gone. *sighs*

What's everyone else up to this weekend?

About a month ago my daughter started her first extra curricular program. She joined a dance club which rehearsed every day at lunch. Tomorrow is thier big recital so I will be heading to the school for 10 am to see the big show!

Sunday is the anniversary of the day my mother died 13 years ago (when I was 13). I will have no time to truly grieve though as it is also the date of her niece's baby shower. I will be in a car for the two hour ride over with my moms sisters and my own sister and then ill be surrounded by cousins and playing silly baby shower games all day. This is decently more how my mom would like the day to be spent though I'm sure :)

Suffering from a stomach bug. I hardly went to work at all this week. Putting plans on hold. Son going to Les Mis rehearsal tomorrow.

Well now that we've crawled out of the interior bathroom (read = tornado shelter) continuing with that great Oklahoma passtime...weather watching.

But really, tomorrow I spend the whole day out at the Boy Scout camp doing volunteer training for Cub Camp this coming week. The boys get to learn how to be pirates! And all the requisite survival skills.

I'm so sorry the people of OK have to go through this.

The Scout stuff sounds like a blast!

I had my Monthly Shadowrun game Saturday, then we did the Renn Faire today and dinner at the Irish Bred Pub... busy weekend for us.

Sounds fabulous! I have mostly finished packing for a week of teaching Bears how to be pirates. (I am not sure if this fact is made more or less interesting by the fact that the bears are not ursa, but 8 year old boys). Fun with Cub Scout Day Camp.

We went to the beach on Saturday (it was Tadpole's first time) and had a BLAST! I have a HORRIBLE sun burn, but it was worth every hiss of pain!

Then we spent Sunday hanging around the house. :)

And this is the last week of school for my class!!! I have three days of Post-planning next week, but after Friday, my darlings aren't mine, anymore. :(

Yay! Was it fun?

I see DM has eaten a few days worth of posts! Someone forgot to feed the rats...

Yay!

I had a rather great weekend! Dana raced yesterday, so I had to take him lunch and dinner. Headsinhelmets.com was out at the park the race track is in and both of my girls got free bike helmets! I let them play on the playground at the park until they were about to pass out from exhaustion, then we went Father's Day shopping, too.

Today, we did a lot of taking it easy. We went to visit Dana's parents for a few hours, then I took him to Outback for dinner and desert (I had a gift card!). :) Then we came home and he cut the grass.

Pretty low key weekend and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

We had a nice weekend. Saturday was... short. I didn't get to bed until 4:30am Saturday morning (from Friday) because of a very long and enjoyable sewing-new-garb party that started at 11am Saturday and just kept going with a couple of the girls. It was fun, if very loopy by 4:30 in the morning. Got up, enjoyed some major thunderstorms, cleaned up. Yeah, not much happened Saturday after that.

Sunday we had a great Father's Day meal with my folks for my Dad and my honey, and then came back to town in time for an SCA evening that started with Cook's Guild, moved into our monthly Historian's night, and then into Bardic.

Today I get back to playing catch up on several fronts, but it was nice to just work on projects and enjoy myself for a couple of days.

That sounds like a fun time, Lady!

I went grocery shopping this morning and saved SOOOO much money, it was FUN! Now I'm putting off cleaning Peanut's room... *eyes the hallway and groans*

I'm doing something odd this weekend and staying home and not doing anything... I can't even say that with a straight face... but I'm not going more than 10 miles from home.

*laughs* I'll believe that when I see it.

I, on the other hand, am probably not going anywhere this weekend. I am, however, going to go out with my Peanut on Wednesday (the beginning of our weekly dates!) and then I'm finally going to see the new Star Trek movie with my MiL on Thursday. Otherwise, I'm cleaning my house so my new Sleep Number bed can be delivered (hopefully!) next week! :)

Woo, new bed! Sounds awesome.

This weekend we have our Izumicon staff meeting, but instead of having it at the convention center, we're holding it as an event at the local zoo. I expect a few folks will show up in cosplay (that's the idea  ) and drum up interest.

We... will show up early, use our zoo pass, and hang around until the meeting in the afternoon.

Saturday hubby, me and boy child went to a street wide garage sale in a small town I've not been to before. We didn't get anything but it was a nice outing. On our way out we saw signs for an auction so we checked it out too. Didn't get anything there either but it was good to be out. I don't recall the rest of the day.

Sunday was a busy day for me. I caught up on laundry, mowed half the lawn, played in the unmowed lawn with boy child, drove to the city to pick up girl child, did some garden weeding while the neighbour kids invaded the yard, made homemade panzarottis for supper and then laid out in the couch in front if the tv till bed!

Yesterday was an inside day cleaning up and rearranging furniture to make better use of the space and rooms in the house.

I attacked my bedroom today and have more trash to toss out from MY bedroom than I did from Peanut's yesterday! My back is killing me and my carpal tunnel is decidedly unhappy, too.

Tomorrow is Peanut and Mama day and we're going to see a movie, then getting pedicures. :)

I did, too! Haven't had one in almost a year! :-(

Peanut was so funny about it! She had this big question mark over her head the whole time. Her favorite part? When they put the polish on her toes. Lol
