In actuality, the Light and Shadow are quite similar. Besides the One Power (Shadow gets True Power, Lighties get leveling up bonuses), the only major difference between the two Factions is how you RP and on what side you RP. In DM terms, both Factions have the same ideals, those being ones of Tainted insanity and spam. Just because one is a Lightie, for example, doesn't mean that they can't be evil. We are all companions in our Taint.

 

Currently, you're seeing more of the Shadow since they just got like 5 new members in a row, and they all happen to be active. (so you should join the Light to balance that. ;)) Plus Leyrann's on LoA. He's a zealot.

The Shadow do certainly seem to be more visible at the moment. Balance is certainly important. Why did you choose the Light Faction over the Shadow? And people on the Light side can be Tainted and Evil - that just doesn't sound right.

 

Also - do you know how long it takes to get added to the user boards?

I chose the Light partially because of the people there and partially because it felt right. I am a Lightie, not a Shadowite. Well, Lighties are definitely Tainted (It could be argued that they are more so than the Shadow). That's just part of what being in the Black Tower is.

 

Usually takes a couple days for the Admins to get around to it but not too long.

That was pretty much how we showed the difference between the Light and Shadow in the quiz, as you may have noticed. (With the Lightie answers being more Tainted, and the Shadow answers being more evil)
