Okay, in light of Hoof flipping town, I'm starting to rethink this game a bit here.

As I re-read and look at what is happening I'm starting to realize half way through that my, and many others, line of thinking was backwards. I shoulda picked up on it since I was one of the first to make the mistake though.

Here's the thing. We've been looking at people who messed up on the theme as suspicious where the survivors are the actual mafia and not vice versa as we are used to.... but the thing is, someone who is part of the mafia, would know easily, right from the beginning that the survivors were indeed mafia and anything else wasn't.

Example: A mafia player gets their role. "You are a so-and-so and you are a survivor (mafia)! You must kill off all non-survivors. Here is your QT"

Seems like it would be really simple logic at that point to realize that they wouldn't want to act like a survivor, plus QT would help to clear it up in case they were confused. The rest of us are on our own and our roles and whatnot can be a little more vague, plus with no outside communication, there's noone to warn us not to make this mistake until it happens on thread... which it did... many times. Instinct says act like the good guy, I'm infected but I'm blending in for a while. The mafia took advantage of that and stoked our fears probably and then we lynched Hoof. I'm just as guilty in being blinded by that though as well. Now, I need to re-read again with that in my mind.

Hey guys, just to let you all know, I've asked to be replaced. I'm seeing my family for only the second time this year so I've been really busy the last few days and it will be the same for the next week.

I haven't been able to give this game my full attention and for that I'm sorry. I'll try and get online where possible until a replacement is found, but I'll probably only be able to manage it once a day. Again, sorry.

Double voter I suppose.

Mod said he counted my unvote, but NOT my hammer vote then mentioned something about timestamps winning out, but Hoof was still killed. As such, an invisible vote came in before my Hammer. But now that I think about it, we are still in daylight, which means that it could have been a Daytime killer role of somesort, but it seems a waste when we were so close to deadline.

Unless... someone wants a deadline without a lynch... 3rd party Day SK? Complete supposition on my part, but there is some sort of role that killed off Hoof without my Hammer vote.

A SK... That could be. He/she does just want as many kills as possible, and the deadline is when the time is reached, OR when we have a lynch.

I don't think it's likely it's some Mafia role, is it?

Could be mafia hoping to get us to lynch another town, but I doubt it this close to deadline. The unknown Mod doings on deadline are bad for mafia too. In any case, I'm okay with moving to Panda if time starts to tick down too low in order to consolidate.

It´s still day?!

I´m curious of Ishy´s vote on Blackhoof. There had been 7 votes on Blackhoof and then people started unvoting and then Ishy reads things he missed before and votes Blackhoof. After that the lynch got new speed again.

Wombat voted Blackhoof without a reason, unvoted but then revoted because we needed to move one. Hm...

Amega is trying to blend in...

Also looking at Ed and BG.

I don´t understand the votes for Pandy. I agreed with his vote on Blackhoof and I don´t think he has been acting scummy.

I will come back before I go to bed and vote.

I'm not the only one with odd Hoof votes. I'll be honest the my final vote was because I was ready to move on with deadline starting to get near and I was getting anxious to end the debate and see what the lynch held. I think we got some good info already though as I explained in my post earlier.

Yeah, well, I figure there is a good chance of me going down today at this point. I've made mistakes this game that have painted me off color to a few folks, important ones, and there isn't much I can do about it.

The best thing I can do for town is get all my opinions out in the open before the votes pile in. Maybe it will stay my lynch, but if not, when I flip town, people will know where my scumdar was pointing, and I can only hope they are correct.
