My case from earlier in this day phase was that Ledinna, tinker or min were scum. At least one of them because they built a competing train on Maw, while Leyrann was being lynched. I voted each of them to apply pressure during this phase, and wasn't opposed to going back to Ledinna here at the deadline - hence me asking all the questions about giving her time to defend, her time zone, etc.

I also had no problem with you hammering, other than the lack of explanation - which you pointed out came earlier in the game. In my case, I'm not to keen on you ninja hammering when I was obviously hovering, and then making it sound like I wouldn't do it. Where I play we give people the chance to reveal, defend, etc.

Still - am being freakishly good at spotting Mafia this game. The NK on Frodo/Maw - am not sure if that is smart. Cos he seemed to be a confirmed Townie - or Lazy, cos there are more involved and working things out people who could have been killed instead. Makes me think what type of person/who is likely to have called in his kill rather than anyone elses.

 

Also - all done very quickly indeed - am thinking if there is only one Mafia left, they are a statesider probably. Makes me want to check who was active on DM during this time >.>

Well, I was 100% correct in thinking Ledinna was mafia. I will admit I am probably wrong about Verbal. Which means we have one mafia member left.

 

There are two mason teams. I am on one of them. Which is why I was against Maw using absolutes. Knowing who my teammate is and looking at the rest of the stuff, it is easy to deduce a mafia member. I was thinking Verbal was one, but with his vote on Ledinna I will look elsewhere. After all a mafia member would not give up their godfather.

 

So, I said if Verbal and Ledinna weren't mafia then John is. Well, if Verbal isn't due to his vote on the godfather that leaves only one choice in my book. Oh, and this is going off of votes and what I know.

I think the assumption might have ben to eliminate Frodo in case he was rolled up beyond just Mason, besides younwere kinda a confirmed townie... Scum doesn't like to keep them around.

 

I think I got this on lock anyway. With the SK dead, and soon to be 3 scum it should be end game and if not Doc can protect me until we find the last scum. I think this is end game though...

It is smart by providing no info -- we had an idea that Maw was a townie Mason, so the kill didn't help us scumhunt much. That's the goal for mafia NKs.

I really was a newbie, so I didn't lie about that.

Uh... I kept feeling guilty for 1. lying 2. when Ithi defended me 3. I was so bad player that all mafia's mistakes were pretty much made by me alone. Maybe the guiltiness was the reason for my mistakes. AND I must admit that your pressure worked on me!

 

Never thought basic mafia would be this complicated. If a mafia-game-for-dummies is ever made, I'll be absolutely there but otherwise it may go a while until I'm brave enough to try this again. Thanks for this game Experince, though!!

You played just fine - just keep at it, it took me a couple of games before I started "seeing" things. Even still, I suck mostly. Haha...

 

Like my "trap" on you on D1. I'd pound my chest for catching the GF with a basic trap on D1, but I was so skeptical that scum would actually bite on that I convinced myself there was no way you were scum, so then I looked at those jumping on my trap case instead. LOL... that is the sorta stuff that makes mafia so great though, imo.

 

Also, I'm guessing they targeted Maw last night, hoping that confirmation of his alignment would perhaps make me continue on my crusade of lynching from people on the Maw D1 train, Wombat knows I can be quite pushy if I think I got someone... Womby pinged me on D1 though, with this post:

I used to feel really paranoid and guilty too Ledinna. And I am terrible at lying. I've never actually been part of a Mafia Team, but I was Cult once ( and there actually was no mafia in that game so we were the only bad guys. Mind we weren't told about that so were trying to hunt and lynch Mafia lol) and I felt that everything I did was so obviously non Town.

 

I did used to get upset too - but now I have a lot more fun with it- and it's made a big difference to my game. Annoying people like John is fun too

 

In a way it was good you were on the Mafia team for your first game, cos you weren't having to play all on your own - and you didn't have to worry about finding the Mafia members lol. Plus - you've done it now, next time it will be easier.

 

Hmmmm ..... Does all this I'm a genius for figuring out and viewing Wwwwwwombat chit chat really matter now lol? What's your character's name John. Are you Gandalf?

I haven't implied I'm a genius, I'm simply giving you guys the background on why I chose him.

 

Not sure what the mod's rules are, but its pretty standard that you can't reveal character names - only roles - in these games. So I won't be telling you what character I am... and if the game doesn't end with Wombat dying, then I'll be coming for you next because that was a subtle scummy move to try to get the finder mod-killed.

IF this is true, then the best thing for the town to do is verify if there is a framer. We lynch you and find out.

 

Its the right play here, given the substantial numbers advantage the town has.
