That is if it´s not you that are mafia? I´m just doing a quick post since I´m away from home. I will be back tomorrow. I think both Kate and Ithi are better choises but I will check out Ama´s posts tomorrow to be sure I haven´t missed something.

I didn't think I'd ever say this, but I feel like you read a little too much into everything. I mean, I voted Kate due to her slip and because I believe it's good to have opposing trains. It's not as if me and/or Ama had just jumped on the end of a lynch to hammer someone out of nowhere.

 

 

Of course, I'm sure some would argue that you can't read too much into anything, but I guess that's personal opinion.

I dislike that you say this after you and Kill have both voted Ama. I still have a nagging feeling in my mind that you are mafia with Kill and that your Mason claim was a clever way of being able to work together openly. It seems like it might be just as likely that mafia HAS joined in on the lynch.

I agree with possibility you state in your first point (as I said above) but your second claim is slightly flawed. Ithi did not solely refocus this. I posted (twice, I think) yesterday with the idea that Ithi and I could be town going at town. I conceded that we had reached a deadlock, because no one else was really jumping in, and called for the rest of you to speak up. Ithi couldn't get a lynch on me, no...but I had as much of a hand in refocusing the votes elsewhere.

We are getting very close to end-game, it seems. We should all be reading whatever we can into everything. Of course, you're reading far too much into my "slip" but I don't expect you to believe that.

 

 

 

I am Town and I want to win. I felt that shaking all the branches on the tree might be best. That being said, I am going to Unvote and Vote Ama due to her quietness until Ithi and I quit going after each other's throats. If Ama flips mafia, I will be more certain that Krak is due to his quietness and subtle redirects back to the Ithi/Me issue. If Ama flips Town, I will be otherwise convinced that Ithi/Kill cleverly played this and will go back for her (then him) with a bloodlust.

I will be interested to see who they kill this evening. If Ama does flip town (god I hope not, as Vam did still plead innocence even after being lynched in the Aiel game and totally turned out to be Mafia) and another Townie is NKd tonight, that will leave only three of us Townies left.

 

That basically means that to lynch me or Kill, the other remaining Town person will HAVE to vote with the two remaining Mafia team players. That will be nice and ironic when they see that we really are Town.

 

Of course IF there were three mafia players left, and we have just lynched a Town, and another Town gets NKd tonight - we have already lost

 

I may never forgive you Kate, if you end up being Mafia after all this.

Pretty sure that Jack said somewhere that the scum would be given false claims., and Ithi pretty much said that Jack was helping her out a lot on the QT. I have never seen her so confident in a game before - this outright attack mode is not Ithi's playstyle at all.

 

Mason is a very convenient false claim... i'm going to look for the quotes to back up what i said above - if i can't find them before Jack posts the scenes - one of the townies should definitely go looking for them. You may have lynched me - but the town can still win this.

I've been having lessons to improve my game and I am part of a mason team, so I'm not on my own. It has made a big difference. Jack is not properly helping me in this game though, of course, that would be cheating. All he did was make general conversation whilst I was abandoned by berf, he has not really spoken to me in the qt thread since Kill joined. The only way he 'helped' me was to keep me company till Kill turned up, as he knows how much I hate playing this game on my own.

 

My game has been better this time I think. I have felt a lot more confident and have not been taking things so personally. I will wait for the full critique once the game has ended though. I've actually enjoyed playing for once.

I'm really not happy with people voting and saying its just a band wagon. My own vote on Kate was purely an initial joke vote. Maybe one or two of the others were also the same - but since when is blatant bandwagoning a skillful thing to do. It just smacks of laziness and easiness (is that a real word). Considering there is no deadline at present what on earth are the people joining in on this wagon thinking.

 

They are not even giving real reasons for voting.

Ishy also quickly followed up his thought that bandwagons are good with a blatant - I'm a good guy honest post. Did you think that promoting bandwagons made you look bad?

 

 

Hey Krak. Have we really never met before? That just feels so wrong lol. Thank you for noticing me lol.

 

Also @ Wombat - Kate did do a blatant OMGUS vote in the first game she played here, and I was watching that game. I honestly thought at the time that she was just a newb who didn't have a clue - but she did end up being Mafia. But then again, Ishy did do that miscount and promoted the Kate bandwagon. What do you think about that? I know you often have a sixth sense about these things, that has been developed by far too much time spent playing this game.

 

Two things that stand out - not what i was actually looking for but it's midnight and i start work at 6am - have to get up at 5, so i am going to bed.

 

First post is where only 50 posts into the game Ithi blatantly asked for Kate's to reveal. Everyone focussed on Kate's reveal of vanilla town but no one said much about Ithi calling it out like that.

 

Second - major metagaming and pushing her own newbie angle at the same time, at the time- appeared innocent enough, now not so much.

That being said, if not been able to completely change my personality. I've been so relaxed and confident because I only have to tell the truth. I don't have to worry about making fake claims or getting tripped up.

 

The thing with asking Kate if she was Town was a bit of an in joke between me and Kate. Kate was playing in a game that I wasn't a part of and she told me that if I ever asked her flat out which side she was on she would have to tell me the truth, cos she wouldn't be able to lie to me. So I thought I would ask her in this game, as we have never played in the same game before and I thought it would be funny.

 

Saying hi to Krak was a real thing too. I honestly thought we had met at some point previously to this game on DM. We have a mutual friend and so of course I know of him, and was surprised to realise that we had never had an interaction on DM before.

 

The asking questions is a new thing. Jack totally taught me how to do that.
