I dunno how much I buy 2 killers at ape's last night.. expecially since vic didn't announce it in his first post of the day (why not take credit for it??), I have to guess he was there for nefarious means and was backed into a corner by smash..

 

Further, Red/Smmash vote buyign was day 2.. Vic said he was paid 135 coins for his vote, which would mean he basically held onto his one and only sword for several nights. Considering theives were in play, I have a hard time buying that

Also, Vic seems like the top candidate for cult right now, with his late credit on the ape kill, and only after smash forced him. If he is a survivor gone bannerman like he had already claimed, then there should be no reason to hide his kill. The dude I am inclined to believe, but I'm still wary about that 3 starting cult comment.

I think we should look at Barm and Sakaea. They were early on the Mynd train and stayed on the Mynd train. I also stayed on the Mynd train, but I know I'm not cult. The dude switched to slats after it was clear where the momentum was going (possible bus job), but he has claimed the Greatjon and claimed shooting the Ape, so he gets a pass for that for now imo.

Yes your right but I did make it clear I would easily go in either direction depending on votes. When Slats picked up momentum I jumped on and from that point it was a pretty fast lynch. Remember I had both Mynd and slats pegged for cult at the time and I made my case so did I need to repeat it when I switched my vote back over to slats ?

 

@CTM are you saying VIC visited the APE and converted him then the APE was Killed that same night ? That would make sense as to why Vic hesitated.

I think the case on Vic is pretty tenuous, so I'm not liking that wagon. I don't like to speculate based on balancing, but a backup cult leader just seems too overpowered. IMO, either Vic shot Ape -- making him Stark-aligned -- or Vic didn't shoot Ape -- making both him and Smash cult. Vic went after slats early and also pushed the momentum in that direction, so I'm inclined to think he's not cult.
