Just a Plot Idea

Just wondering that in the AMOL book that we will see another Seanchan raid on the White Tower (and/or even the Black Tower) Would this co-inside with Rand's proposed meeting on the Fields of Merrilor, which results in Rand using his abilities to diffuse the situation. Would this bring the Seachan forces finally to the side of the light and join in the last battle on Rand's side.

Any comments much appricated?

It was quite striking in ToM that there seemed to be no preparations of any kind by the AS for another Seanchan strike. Given that they have strong reason to think the Seanchan now have Travelling, that seems remarkably negligent. Given that the last time we saw Tuon she was thinking 'The White Tower is doomed', I think there will be another strike - but narratively, it will have to turn out quite differently to the last one, otherwise why have the same thing happen twice in the story?

This is one that I'm really not sure how it will turn out...

I'm almost certain how it will turn out. IIRC, Fortuona also thought of it. I think they will make gateways to the basements of the WT, and then send Damane and soldiers through.

Almost makes you wish that Dreamspike was still around, it would certainly make traveling to inside the WT a lot harder. :D

Then again, there is still one at the Black Tower, and people at the Black Tower that would like to get back to the White Tower...

Mat needs to go to the Tower to retrieve the HoV. I'm betting that this will coincide with the Seanchan attack.

I hadn't thought of this but I really like the idea.

Mat is casually strolling the corridors when the Seanchan attack which just goes to show he can't get away from battles no matter what he does. The Seanchan are collaring people and Mat shows up with the Horn and says "Stop that and bloody well come with me". The shocked look on Tuon's pretty face...

Hmm, I quite like this idea! If the Seanchan vanguard - including Tuon, slightly improbably - gate in to the Tower just before Pevara and co get there with the Dreamspike, then Tuon finds herself stranded in the WT without reinforcements. Add Mat into the mix, and yes, a sudden attitude readjustment on the part of Tuon might appear. Now, if Teslyn, Joline, and their now-friendly sul'dam also happened to arrive around the same time...

Rand would probably have a second meeting with Tuon. They might do a treaty then.

Not so sure about the Seanchan doing a second attack on the White Tower. battle-related prophecies containing both Seanchan and either White Tower or Aes Sedia; all those seem to have been fulfilled in the one attack.

That would be hilarious! I don't think there's time for another Seanchan attack, though.

That's interesting, but have we thought about how many AS went with Egwene to the camp at FoM? Could be kinda funny to see the Seanchan raid the Tower to find out there's nobody there but the libarians and Laras.

BTW, I fortell that Laras whoops Fortouna's skinny butt.

The Seanchan do intend to attack (ToM47). but I don't think we'll have an all-out battle like we did before, as you say, there isn't plot time.

Except for Egwene's Dream of herself working together with a Seanchan woman. Somehow, the White Tower and the Seanchan will have to get along... Maybe this will work better if Tuon and Egwene were to work it out than if both allied with Rand and he simply told them to get along. Maybe Tuon wasn't resisting Rand's ta'verenness, she was falling into the Pattern.

There's still an unfulfilled prophecy about Rand kneeling to the Seanchan Empress (most likely Tuon of course).

That was a part of the modified prophecy, the correct version is the dragon reborn will bind the nine moons to serve him. or whatever it is. Ishamael basically confirm this in tEotW

Modified the comment.

Egwene and the Seanchan woman, that could be fulfilled without a second attack.
