After having escorted the little pretty boy everyone, and it seemed even Fnorrll when no one was looking, to his room, Eddie went around, looking at how to get a glimpse of the prisoner, or to even get back under the Mother's skirts to protect her.

"Hi there young man!"

Eddie looked around.

"Hi, I'm Rita Skeeter of the Daily Prophet and I have some questions for you."

"Me? Really? I'm not all that important in this event, even though I try and tell them so."

"Oh, I think you're important. You've been running around, and probably know more of what's going on than that Amy chick."

"heh...I like you, Ms. Skeeter. How may I help?"

.....

"Well Ms. Skeeter...uh, lovely....interview. It's best we be getting back now. There probably looking everywhere for us!"

Eddie escorted Ms. Skeeter from his rooms and back to the Tower proper..

Amyrlin I request that my men are not attacked or harmed. I respect the Aes Sedai and Warders and I wish the Children are shown the same amount of respect that I have shown toward you. Looks at Fnorrll I suspect that he plans to do something about my men. Leave them alone please.

Red straightens the papers and locks them in a draw, warding them with a flow of air. Voldemort scowls at her from his perch by the window, a snide look on his face.

"You say I'm your client, yet I'm treated more like a prisoner. Even in Azkaban the prisoners are allowed yard time, yet here I'm kept kenneled like some mudblood in this forsaken tower."

Red maintained her calm composure, though it took most of her strength not to roll her eyes. Having resigned himself to the fact that his wand would no longer work, Voldemort had taken to complaining about everything like some lordling with a sore tooth. She gave Voldemort a calm cool glare, which he returned and didn't drop his eyes. 'His insolence is sure to cost me my winning streak of cases, does this fool not know when he's beaten and how to fain submission in order to win a trial!' Red thought to herself. Instead she responded to his comment with a calm voice.

"I have explained this to you time & again Voldemort, you are only restrained because of the notoriety of your case. Any mishap you may have, any stumble you may take or threat uttered from your lips could seal your death warrant and put an end to this trial and any hope you may have for freedom. In short, you cannot be trusted not to hang yourself with your poor attitude and snide remarks."

Voldemort bristled at the comment and stroked his wand fondly, his red eyes glaring daggers at his attorney. Red walked to the door and opened it with ease; none could enter her room without her present, it was agreed upon by the Sitters of the Blue Ajah that this ward for the best, both for Voldemorts safety & for the inhabitants of the Tower own safety. There was always some novice who went where they weren't supposed to go, breaking some rule just to prove their worth; not to mention the brazen Algi, whom she had heard boasting about skewering their not so honored guest and saving the Tower both time and valuable resources. Looking back, she gave Voldemrot a measured look.

"Open the door for no one, they may not be able to cross this barrier but an arrow can still easily find it's mark in your body. I would tell you not to try to escape, but it's doubtless your heed my words; none the less, if an attempt is made I'll send you to the Mistress of Novices for a schooling in listening to what your told." She turned to leave, but stopped. The threat was empty for the most part, but Voldemort was more likely to listen to a threat which would wound his pride and ego than one threatening his person. She glanced coolly over her shoulder, "Try to enter my desk again, the papers inside wont be the only thing to catch fire this time Tom Marvolo Riddle; mark my words and know the threat for a promise, I'll make you curse the day your mother set eyes on your father if you disturb the contents again."

With that she closed the door with a decisive click and made her way down the Tower, nodding to the Warders gadding her hallway and giving the novices and Accepted who stood around craning their necks for a look at the prisoner a look that sent them scurrying like mice sighting a cat. She chuckled inside, remembering fondly her own days as a novice and the many things she had done to be sent to the Misterss of Novices. Her brisk pace soon brought her to the Amyrlin's chambers, of which she took a minute to compose herself and straighten the blue shawl draped over her shoulders. She knocked on the door and patiently waited to be admitted.

Dolores Umbridge walked down the empty hall, her heels clacking on the marble. A small smear of pink appeared on the walls next to her as she walked; the brilliant shining white walls of the White Tower reflecting the color of her suit. She smiled at the sight of it. It was a welcome color in a place that was most different. Gone were there black bricks of the Ministry. Smoothing her pink tweed pencil skirt, Umbridge kept walking. The court definitely had to be around here somewhere. Not that she worried. No, they wouldn't start without her. Afterall, she was an Undersecretary to the Minister of Magic. Whilst others had lost their jobs in the wake of Lord Voldemort losing to the boy – who would've thought! - Dolores still held her rightful place. All because she knew what truly made power: blackmail. The new Minister had a habit that wouldn't sit right with his wife and Umbridge had just happened to find out about it. And gather evidence.

A slip of a girl appeared in front of her, somewhat in a hurry. Her dress was an appalling white color, though at least it had some color on the end. Pity it didn't have pink. Smiling at her nicely, Umbridge asked her where the court was. Apparently she couldn't hear, however, so Dolores cleared her throat, “Hem hem, I said, Hey girl! Where is that doomed court? I must relocate.” The girl heard her that time, though she seemed to get the message wrong.

"Do you want an appointment with an Aes Sedai? Sorry i need to deliver a mes-"

Umbridge narrowed her eyes at the girl. Honestly. Was she a muggleborn dimwit or something? "What is an Aes-whatever? I need to relocate to court,do you hear me??"

"Who are you??" The girl had the nerve to ask. Umbridge widened her eyes and smiled a smile that looked like trouble. How dare the girl not know her betters!

"I am Umbridge.” Dolores said, crossing her arms.

"Good, now get out of my way,i am busy."

How dare she! How dare she not acknowledge my position. Well, we'll just see about that. I still have the special quill that I used on Potter. I bet that would make this girl think twice about questioning who I am. And not giving me the respect befitting my position. "Look, girl i can-"

The girl laughed. LAUGHED! "You want to beat me with that, old woman?"

"Old woman?! I will show you the old woman, you!! CRUCIO!” Umbridge screamed, waving her wand in the precise motion.

And nothing happened. Frowning, she waved it again. And again.

"Is that all you can do?" The girl stared at her and then Umbridge felt herself move until she was flattened to the wall. The girl hadn't even had a wand. Was she the next Dark Wizard? Did she have power that no one else had, including Voldemort? Whatever it was, Umbridge liked power and she liked having powerful people had her side.

“Wait girl. I have been summoned her to assist an Elgee Sedai with the trial of Lord Voldemort. That doesn't have to be my only business here, though. Let me down and we should chat after the trial....”

A few moments later, Umbridge stepped into the area where court was being held. The girl had called it the Hall. Frowning, Dolores adjusted the large pink bow in her hair and waddled toward the group of people on the other side of the room.

*Elgee smoothed her skirts and giggled a bit when the oh so pretty Whitecloak leader re-entered her office.* Hope you're settling in fine, Galad? *The last was accompanied by a slight titter, until she saw the look on Fnorrll's face. He Was Not Amused. Sighing and pouting slightly, she tried to regain some composure.* I can assure you that all our guests will be treated fairly and will not be subjected to any violence or SMITING. *She gave Fnorrll a firm look. Light, she would have to find him someone to smite, or he would explode soon.*

I believe you wanted to meet the accused, Galad? I'm afraid that will not be allowed - apparently we judges are supposed to remain impartial and base our findings only on what happens in the courtroom, or some such drivel.

"I would not dream of it, mother." murmered Fnorrll softly. "Some of the younger, more brash Manshima MAY be outside the city walls and COULD, POSSIBLY mistake a whitecloak contingent for an attempted attack, of course...I will send out messengers at once...hopefully they will find them in time to explain the situation." he smiled at the Lord Captain Commander wolfishly.

Of course Mother. Since I'm here, is there anything I can do before the trial for you? Ignores the Master at Arms

After seeing that Whitecloak near slice that earthwoman into ribbons, Wolf didnt know what to feel. He was still trying to make sense of it all: some dark Wizard or something called Lord So-And-So was being tried here in the Tower, the Lord Captain Commander of the Whitecloaks here IN the Tower, and the rumours that wafted through the Tower about the band of Whitecloaks camped outside were true. Wolf rubbed his right temple as he walked through the halls, making his way to where Fnorrll would be. Given the current circumstances, Fnorrll would need more hands to help around. Fnorrll wouldnt want anything to go wrong, not now.

Wolf turned a corner and near collided with the reporter woman from earlier. Wolf rolled his eyes, brushed her aside and continued walking. He made about four steps when he heard running behind him and a voice calling him: "Wait! Wait!". Wolf continued on, blocking out the woman. The woman never ceased, and ran in front of Wolf to stop him.

Rita Skeeter: Hey I remember you! You were guarding the door when I was talking to that man!

Wolf: *brushes her aside again and walks*

Rita Skeeter: *runs up alongside him* So who are you?

Wolf: *no answer*

Rita Skeeter: Hello?

Wolf: *again no answer. quickens his pace*

Rita Skeeter: *waves a hand in front of Wolf's eyes* Hello?

Wolf: *knocks her hand away and looks at her from the corner of his eye* I am busy.

Rita Skeeter: Oh come on, I'm Rita Skeeter from the Daily Prophet. Surely youve heard of me. I'm covering the trial and would like to ask you some questions.....

Wolf: I want nothing to do with you or your prophet. *quickens pace*

Rita Skeeter: Come on! Just a few questions!

Wolf: *stops dead in his tracks and turns to the woman* If you dont leave me be you will have a conversation with Clarence, and believe me, you dont want to talk to Clarence.

Rita Skeeter: Why not? I want to question as many people as I can for my story! Who is this Clarence?

Wolf: *moves part of his coat, revealing the wolfhead-pommeled sword at his hip* This is Clarence, and he's not used to displaying affection when he's annoyed, much like his owner.

Wolf brushed her aside and left her standing there, and walked into where Fnorrll, the Amyrlin and the Whitecloak were. Wolf curtsied the Amyrlin and saluted Fnorrll. "Manshima Wolfbrother awaiting orders Sir. I'm here to help in any way I can." Wolf sneered at the Whitecloak and muttered "Even take out the thrash".

Feeling more and more harassed by the amount of people crowding into her office, pointedly ignoring each other or ignoring each other's points, or even pointedly pointing pointy things, Elgee screamed. Loudly. And piercingly.

That made her feel much better, but there was still a small amount of irritation left, which she got rid of by throwing a brass paper weight at the wall. It made a lovely crunchy noise, which at last brought a smile to her face.

"It's time for my bath," she said with a tranquil expression.

Red let out a litle gasp as the paper weight flew by her head, missing her by an inch. Regaining her composure, she smoothed her dress and peaked aroudn the corner to make sure no more came her way.

"Mother," she said in a clear and calm voice, droping to a curtsey. "I've come to tell you that the Defense has prepared it's case. I was wondering if the prosecution was ready as well and if the judges had all made it here safely."

Red bite back the retort about her client and how he was acting like a caged animal, cabin fever had struck Voldemort hard it appeared and he was worse than the Aymrllin without her morning Kaf; not that red had ever seen Elgee without her morning Kaf, bu she had heard rumors. As she glanced up, her breath caught in her throat at the sight of a Whitecloak in Elgee's office, both from shock and from his sheer beauty. She embraced the source quickly, pretty or not a Whitecloak was still a Whitecloak and where there was one there were bound to be more. She found herself also wondering if he might make a good Warder besides, even though she'd had the hawl for a good year she had yet to bond anyone and this one atleast was easy on the eyes and held himself in a way that spoke of the surety a blademaster could only have.

"Thank you, Red," Elgee said calmly. "Please send some novices to fetch all the other participants. Make sure all of the ... visitors have some Warders and Aes Sedai as escorts. I will be there. After my bath." She nodded firmly, then opened a Gateway to her rooms.

*After months of being sequestered pleasantly in the greens quarters Al Jenn strides out of the halls down to the old familiarity of the warder barracks. On the way to his quarters he noticed a missive posted from the Amyrlin... quickly scanning the note he turned on his heel and headed to the war room to talk to Vanion about the current state of matters.

Reaching the room I see it's empty, however there are many tactical papers strewn across the table. I stop with a start... Fnorrll is in charge, Vanion is gone so mother has no warders, the Lord Captain Commander is in the tower and it isn't Pedron Niall but someone new a possible threat, and a contingent of whitecloaks outside the tower. Not to mention some other world forsaken is in the walls. Disaster. Al Jenn checks all his hidden knives, short swords, and finally his blade before hurrying out of the room.

Shortly after talking with Little Miss and making sure she would be safe, Al Jenn heads for where fnorrll, the other world forsaken, and mother would be. Coming upon the chamber he catches a glimpse of the Lord Captain Commander and quickly analyzes the threat, definitely a blademaster, takes a second startled look. No not a female just an overly pretty man, acknowledging the threat he continues towards the room when he hears mother yell about taking a bath and then sees the edge of a gateway....

Turning on his heel he mutters profanities about women and how Aes Sedai especially don't have an ounce of common sense. Fnorrll would have to wait, in the meantime someone had to protect the Amyrlin while her warders were out in the world. After stopping by his Aes Sedai and love to check in he goes to the Amyrlin's quarters and quickly checking the area for anything unusual finds a dark corner, wraps his cloak about him and waits planning on how to end this nonsense in the tower by eliminating that foreign forsaken.*
