Folks, RL is not part of mafia. If RL influences your day (It's surfing a tidal wave over mine...) then just say you've got some issues and everyone needs to be cool. if you do it every time you get close to a lynch, people will figure out what you're doing. That's really all there is too it.

 

As mod, I respect and allow all of the playstyles that I see. To me, aggressive is just a style - as is laying low - as is feigning misunderstanding, and on and on. Capice?

The thing is, it's good to be understanding of people having RL issues, but we can't just totally back off a person and say, well, right, you're having RL stuff, so I'm not going to fod you or vote you or even consider you as a suspect. John is right that his cases don't appear to have anything to do with RL stuff. It's not hateful for him to case someone. It is a mafia game.

 

If we were to lynch someone without giving them a chance to speak, when we knew they weren't going to be around...that's usually not a good idea. But just casing and voting someone, even if they said they might be absent. That's not hateful, it's just playing the game.

 

 

At the same time I've not been able to use any of my roles - so its very obvious to me I'm being roleblocked. ONLY someone from my team would know to roleblock me at this point... if not a teammate, then the other people I'm casing must be scum... or else why would someone block me?

 

That is why my list is in the order it is.

 

Couldn't be because you're a very vocal and clearly astute player that any scum might want to prevent from taking action, could it?

 

I will likely jump on this Nolder wagon, but I'd like to reread some things first.

Heh. Not surprised in the least to see you make this play, pretty desperate though. Amekaguga was on my bubble for scum, she/he did a nice job nudging the Sakea lynch and keeping clean hands... pay close attention here townies. I saw this coming and really won't put up much of a fight, but I will try to elicit as much info as I can for you.

 

If I can get info, then I have no problem dying here - I'll reveal as a townie like I said, and you guys should be able to take these scum pigs down.

Lily, Conquest and I comprise Team Moscow. I am the team leader, I was told we were a team, and we weren't assigned a city until after the game was underway and our QT was set up. I was in charge of starting the QT.

 

Conquest is on game hiatus, we are trying to sort it out with DPR now.

I asked 3 different times how you guys were informed you were Team Moscow, and you didn't answer. I posted how my team was formed and then told what region we are from... it should resonate with other team leaders, I would think.

Now that you've listed all 3 people supposedly on your team, it doesn't make any sense that 3 scum players would put themselves out there, in order to take out 1 townie. I'm leaning towards DPR screwing with us through the set up now.

 

I'm inclined to think that the Cop role was one of the trap roles. Its useless. It ONLY let us know a player's home city... It doesn't tell us town/scum like a traditional finder role, and the vampires are more than likely to have a city of origin too. Since they are co-mingled into the game.

 

That explains why Lie Detector was more valuable than Cop.

Same deal for us, as I explained... you could be using the info I just gave you, or telling the truth here. I'm leaning truth, but that doesn't mean I think your whole team is town, just like I don't think my whole team is town.

What do you mean LD is more valuable than Cop? LD had a 1 point price and Cop had a 2 point price. Also, Min seemed to get an actual alignment with Jack from her cop ability. Then again she got a team name for Nolder and others I think.

Okay, the Pirate offered me a moral dilemma in light of the barrage of questions I asked him. I accepted it, to receive confirmation of my assumption about the setup.

 

Quoted from DPR's setup:

 

"Each of your teams has been flown in from all points acrossthe globe. Moscow. Paris. Saudi Arabia. Thailand. Australia. New Orleans. Eachof your teams represents the elite of the killing squads."

 

My comment to him:

 

"This line from the opening scene sure makes it look like 6 teams of 3, which is 18 ... and 4 vamps to start. Which is the assumption everyone has latched onto. "

 

He confirmed that this assumption is correct. 18 players split up into 6 groups of 3, with 4 original vampires. Converts will be members of the 3 person teams. Christine, Amekaga, or Tina any of you 3 could be a vampire... just like anyone from my team. Which is why I've breadcrumbed time and again statements that can be LD tested.

 

Also... We have seen 3 vampires die, and are in our 3rd hour. That is 3 potential conversions right? Assuming that there has been one successful conversion per game hour, there should be 4 vampires among us now. Who knows if the 3 we've killed are originals or converts, I would suspect that JLM and Blackhoof were originals... Verbal I saw as a prime conversion candidate. I also think Lily would be an ideal conversion candidate after the Fast Game.

 

The cities of origin will do nothing but have us chasing our tails. Vampires gotta come from somewhere too. Lily viewed Blackhoof on hour 1, and he was from Saudi Arabia. Not sure if it makes a difference or not yet, probably impossible to tell until we see the setup in end game.
