I didn't say that because he spams he is scummy. What I am trying to get at is that he mostly has posted fluff and loose reasoning, and then gets on other people about not playing, without even fully throwing himself behind anything until his stuff on AJ, which is the only reason why my vote isn't already on him.

Again, it's not the spam, it's the fact that he says things like "I have posted 60% of the posts in this game" to make us all think that he is trying to be useful, but I'm not biting.

 

 

 

Ok, in response to Ed's long post (not quoting, because it is long and I don't break-up quotes, it's literally less than 10 posts back though):

I don't think that trying very hard to figure out the setup is helpful, but I guess that is playstyle difference there, because we all know that mods can do whatever they want, and even though this is a standard game, we can't EVER know for sure how it is set up until the game is over, because even under the standard rules, there is room for mods to have fun. So speculation does no good IMO (just an opinion tho).

I'm not going to make excuses for my absence thus far in the game, because I plainly was just not around as a player, I will own up to that. Which is why I'm here to play now.

Okay, we can't allow that to happen again. Sorry, but Danya has been on DM and honestly that looked really suspicious to me. Not to mention we lost an innocent. Someone none of us were suspecting too. Well, I know I wasn't. So, we need more activity from people during the day phase. All I have to say is I am happy it is night. I am really sick and off to bed now.

I'm not really sure if anyone had stated any strong suspicions at this point, but I know for sure no one should have been in the clear like this seems to imply of JLM.

 

Danya the deal is you showed up just hours before the end of day. If you aren't up to playing the game then ask to have someone replace you. Don't give crappy excuses and expect us all to buy it. I don't for a minute. I have played mafia with you before. I know there are some who are not being as active. Oh, and the time difference, Ed is in Korea, so not buying that one. I will give you the due in 4 weeks deal, but then again, why did you sign up if you aren't up to playing. There are back-ups.

 

All I am saying is we all have to be careful. We had a lot of time go by and hardly any content. We should be up to about 10 pages by now and it just seems that people aren't participating. We need more participation from everyone. I am really sick and I am still playing. Then again I have to try to sit up every no and then. I can't take any of my meds. and I think that is what is killing me more then the throwing everything up. Doesn't help hubby is still gone on a fire. Okay, pity party done.

Mil I hope you feel better. Oh, and yes it is a catch 22 with the activity thing. It also depends on who you play with. It is the you are scum because and once accused it seems like people, especially the mafia latch on to it.

 

Random mod kills just plan piss me off, so that is why I am so upset. I would rather us lynch an innocent ourselves then do that. Because in the voting we can get information on who might be scum. It is detective work that way.

She touched on Mil being scum here, which always pings me when people say that offhand about someone who turns out to really be scum. Gives you a quote to fall back on. As much as you seem to be so genuinely upset in this post, the Min I remember playing with was a bit more level headed. It might just be the cold though.

 

Did you read my reasoning? We had 7 full days of game play. That is a whole week she could have come to play. I know she came and explained herself later, but at the time she hadn't. To me that is fishy. Especially since she was on DM in those 7 days. So, yes I jumped on a vote for her. I don't like it when people ignore games or when they are active on DM and don't bother to participate. If you can't play then don't sign up or ask for a replacement. That is why I voted and that is why I was up in her face about it. I understand her reasons and there have been times I have not signed into a game until there was a day of game play, but 7 days. Sorry, but that is just no fair to the game. That also goes for the other inactives. If you don't play expect to get lynched unless you go on an LoA and let us know.

 

Okay, because I feel so sick I may be coming across a little more pissy then I intend. Danya it is not personal. I am just making a mafia game point. So, if your baby is born on July 13th it will share a birthday with my youngest. He turns 21 this year. I was on bed rest for 4 months with him. He was worth all the trouble.

 

 

So, now that we have gotten past day one, we need to think about what Day 2 will bring. I don't want a let's lynch Danya just because of day one. We need to get scum and as upset I am about loosing an innocent I really want to get some scum. I am not scum, however I never know about Ed. You're being very single-minded in this post. While later in your rant you do mention the other inactives, you REALLY latched onto Danya at this point, and it's bugging my scumdar big time.

 

I have seen it before. It is just she very conveniently showed up just before the end of the day. I don't think you gave us 7 full days for day one either. That is what got to me was that a week went by. I can understand a few days, but a week. Hard to comprehend. Besides I have seen Danya play scum before and it is one of her ploys to be inactive and try to fly under the radar. Granted she is usually not as active as most, but still could have been a ploy. Now since she explained I am better with it, but at the time it was just very suspicious.

It has been such a trend in mafia games for a ton of people to be inactive recently, this reasoning is so hard for me to buy. It was reasonable at first, but now you are just trying to hard to me.

Yes, 9 out of 10 times you do get a townie on day one, it is that information I am upset we lost. We are two town members down with no information other then a few comments. I thought it was 58.6% if all statistics are made up. In mafia I am sure it is higher.

So, Lessa and AJ you didn't read my post. I said it was a hunch and I don't go on hunches. I didn't even vote for either of you. It is just a feeling I have and no real data to back it up. We don't have much data this game to begin with. A controlled lynch gives us data and we have yet to have that. Now, the fact that a mafia member has been killed we can all go do a re-read and see if it tells us anything. So, at least we have something now!!

 

I still hate random mod kills, but at least this time we all got lucky and it was a mafia member. Well, I suppose the mafia doesn't feel lucky right now.

It seems very odd, when she has contradictions in her posts, agreements with my reasoning on voting AJ, and what seems like straight up selective reading.

 

Why did she case Min?

She starts out almost completely agreeing with Min, and even includes a spammy day 1 post saying it 'shows that Min has been posting'. WTH is up with that?

But she then proceeds to lambast her about her hounding of Danya (which I do actually agree was a lot, but I have also seen Min do this in games).

 

 

 

Crazy Thoughts and Speculations:

 

Either Adella is mafia or a SK/Vig with limited kills....

Adella is possibly a symp protecting AJ. It could someone else, but I'm not seeing who it could be if she is a symp.

She herself seems to be giving a lot of opinions, but no solid direction of thought. Seems like she is distracting us, imo, and more importantly, the way she cased me (off of a spammy comment as her focus point, none the less), like she is trying to deter me.

Uhm... So I know I already said it, and what's funny is Danya told Min that I said it, and then asked the question again... But I cased Ed and Min because they were the two that I got scummy feelings on.

 

I do cases to get my thoughts out there, for others to see, and for me to help myself get my thoughts straight, when I can't come up with a SOLID reason for why I think someone is scummy. Sometimes (like with DPR in a game) when I case someone I figure out why they have been bugging me so bad, and they turn out to be scum. Other times, it looks like a jumbled mess, kinda like both of those cases. Just trying to figure out what is bugging me about both of them.

 

I haven't voted yet, because I honestly am trying to let their reactions speak for themselves. Ed seems to be getting a bit over-defensive, even for him. Min is trying to play it cool, while still deterring my points.
