Wombat that makes no sense imo. if she's scum why give up two of her team mates? i could see one of them, but not 2.

I think we are more looking for cult members right now. I still don't trust your resurection Red. Was it Tiinker or Player that said you came back innocent? I don't remember.

From the scene it doesn't look like I blocked anyone or that any nk was put forth. I'm leaning towards a Wombat vote, but not ready to commit just yet.

i dont get the resurrection either, but you guys shouldn't assume i'm townjust because of my previous alignment. i am town, but it's just dangerous to assume so in a game and consider a person cleared because of it.

Okay so this is what we have left from in the first post of the game...

Wombat

Killiulu

Amadine

leelou

Key

Sakaea

Alanna

Actually, don't we have:

Wombat

Killiulu

Amadine

leelou

Key

Lia? (I can't remember if I read where she's out of the game.)

Red

Alanna

Upon my reread (which took way longer than I expected it to!), these are my thoughts:

Wombat – thinking Red is scum (post #544), also Berf sticking up for him (#567), calls Player out for rolefishing (#586), says he doesn't have a case on red, that it's just gut, and then turns around and says he might case her later, concludes that Min and Lia are scum (#907), still thinks she is scum (#1005), vote for min despite her townie reveal (#1150),

Tina mentioning Alanna in game (#733) makes me lean slightly toward Alanna being town. Also, Alanna reminds everyone that there is a cult (#1258) when people weren't really talking about it, so I don't see a cult-y bringing that up.

Kill, leelou – pretty quiet until closer to now. Leelou's been good with the last two mafias, so I'm inclined to believe that she's the tracker like she says.

Ama – not playing as usual – less active, shorter, no cases. Votes for Player against Trench (#1374).

Red - despite her stating that we shouldn't believe she's town, etc., I find myself believing it anyway. It's been awhile since I've seen the movie - is there a character who is resurrected at all? Anyone that turned bad when they started out good?

Vote Wombat for now.

as far as i know, my character and alignemnt haven't changed, all i was told was that i was resurrected. when i watched the movie last, no i don't rememebr a character comming back from the dead or even switching from good to bad mid movie

day is moving slowly, and that Womby's wagon is moving so slow has me convinced hat we're on the right track honeslty.

Key brings up a very good poitn about Ama btw, and i'm unsure about Lia (i can't recall if she's been replaced or not)

thanks for the extension Krak. okay guys, if no one has a better lynch target then we need to go ahead and get the controlled vote. a random is more likely to hurt us and is less liekly to give us info.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, that's a rap.

She sat quietly by herself, not saying anything for days on end. No one talked to her because they knew they wouldn't get a response. Instead they ignored her, hoping the situation would resolve itself. It did.

The camp was situated in a sheltered dale, below a solitary mountain. A forest of pines spread throughout the dale, providing a modicum of warmth and protection from the elements. As they did every twilight, the last few remaining villagers stopped to set up camp. The first tent to go up was hers, set up by volunteers, into which she was quickly ushered. The rest took their time setting up camp, doing it in a kind of silent, stoic manner that gave light to the resignation in their souls. Lancelot knew they wouldn't find the Grail, not now that Arthur, Galahad, and Robin were gone. He and Bedivere were the last of the Knights of the Round Table, ordered by God and joined in together in the timeless Quest for the Holy Grail. Lancelot had only survived thus far through sheer bravery and strength, and he knew it. He also knew that Bedivere was only alive through his prodigious medical knowledge and prowess. The rest were just lucky, lucky to have survived the mafia menace, lucky to be alive.

Lancelot was nervous. He and the rest of the group had failed to come to a majority as per the Rules of the Quest as defined by God. He was alert, waiting for the smiting that was sure to be swift and deadly. As he watched the others, he observed similar signs in them: a flinch here, a tic there, small observations that informed him as to the emotion pervading the group. Fear. They had failed to discover the last member of the cult that had infiltrated his group, a member that was still at large whose identity was anyone's guess. And their number were dwindling. Soon there would be too few to fend off an attack. Lancelot could only hope the end was nigh, for better or for worse.

High above in the air, the mountain loomed over the camp, an enormous obelisk of a bygone age when the world was younger and wasn't plagued by wars, famine, or untimely death. At the very apex of this monster, a bird alighted upon a stone. This stone had been carefully balanced and for 1000 years no hint of a breeze, no drop of water, no force had touched this stone. Today however, a young bird, lost and alone, separated from its flock, needed a place to rest. It had been flying for miles and miles until finally it could fly no more. The stone wobbled at its touch, but stayed in place. An hour later the bird was well rested enough to continue its search, and it spread its wings and flew away. This time, the force from the birds push transferred enough energy to the stone that it reached to the tipping point, and past. Slowly, ever so agonizingly slow, the boulder tipped over and began it's descent down the mountain.

The unsuspecting villagers (and knights) toiled on below, unsuspecting of the doom rolling down upon them at 9.81 meters per second. The boulder continued its fall, gaining speed at a truly terrifying rate.

Below in the camp, she sat silently in her tent, her unseeing eyes staring blankly ahead.

The boulder reached the halfway point and hit a rather large jut which sent it careening on a direct course for one of the tents.

Her eye twitched.

With a thunderous and almighty BOOM, stone met earth. Their meeting was not a happy occasion, they both destroyed each other with their built up kinetic energy. The boulder's anger was unable to defeat the earth's implacable and timeless strength. All that remained of their meeting was a crater in the earth, a crater that was exactly where her tent had been a moment before.

The people gathered around that hole, stunned by what had just happened. As they gathered, however, a beam of light came down from the heavens and shone upon the exact center of the crater. To the utter surprise of those gathered, a mist began to form at the center of the light, almost as if it were coming from the ground. The mist began to take on form, slowly changing until it had assumed her form. The spirit opened its mouth, and began to talk.

"I, God the Almighty is pleased with you", she began. "You have walked in the light and continued your Quest, even as your friends and comrades fell by the wayside, your steps never faltered."

The shade paused and those gathered held their collective breath.

"And so, as you are gathered here today, look among yourselves. Take a moment to just breathe, a moment in remembrance of friends."

A moment passed.

"For you, you few remaining faithful, you have succeeded in my eyes and hopefully your own. With her death, the last of the evil plaguing this Quest has passed into the night, never to return.

"Now behold, you remaining chosen, behold that which you have searched for for these past twelve months...

BEHOLD THE HOLY GRAIL!!"

The assembled gasped as a chalice of magnificent beauty appeared in her hands.

"Lancelot, my bravest son, step forward and receive that which has cost you so much."

Lancelot strode forward and reverently took the Grail from the shade's hands.

"This Grail shall be a beacon in these dark times. Wherever it goes, people shall flock to the light and darkness shall be driven out. Use it for the good of my Kingdom here on Earth. Bedivere, my good and healing son, I charge you to go with Lancelot and protect him. Keep him and yourself safe through the many trials and dangers that still lie ahead."

"And for the rest of you, my brave children, return to your families and homes, and be content knowing of the wondrous role you've played in this most important Quest. I shall watch over you and your families until seven generations your children's children walk the earth. Be alert, however, for if ever the Grail should pass through your land, ignore not it's call. Take your places again with Lancelot and help him to preserve the beauty and light of my creation."

"Well done, my children, well done indeed."

And with that, the shade disappeared.

Lancelot walked up to the edge of the pit, turned his gaze to the sky, and began to speak words that would be etched into every man and woman's memory, words they would carry with them to their dying day.

"Arthur, can you hear me? Wherever you are, look up! Look up, Arthur! The clouds are lifting! The sun is breaking through! We are coming out of the darkness into the light! We are coming into a new world; a kindlier world, where men will rise above their greed, their hate and their brutality. Look up, Arthur! The soul of man has been given wings and at last he is beginning to fly. He is flying into the rainbow! Into the light of hope! Look up, Arthur! Listen!"

Alanna, the last remaining cult member, has been killed

The Quest is over and the Town and Key (Tim the Enchanter) are Victorious!

My congratulations to the town and my thanks to everyone who played this game. It was my first mod job and it was a lot of fun to watch you guys in your element. Thanks for making my first modding a great one.

Yea, I am sir Galahad the Pure, and I had the power to raise someone out of the grave. I guess Krak made a mistake, and I couldn't raise the fellow knight with the power to gauge night actions, csarmy, so before it was too late, I decided to use my powers and hopefully did the groundword before so it was obvious I raised Red (I was worried at someone stopping nightly actions, though I could in fact act at day too, but I was alarmed, the healer should not sacrifice themselves before full reveal). So in this game my function was to last till half game, and bring back to life someone useful thereford.

Great game! Yay we won! I had a streak going for blocking vanilla townies a few nights in a row there. The reason I was leaning towards Tiink being town was the nk went through.

Krak - are you going to post roles/night actions?

Posted

Well... Tiink, Trench, and I had a good thing going till an unfortunate stream of bad luck...

Here's how it went down:

As I was talking my way out of a lynch, and into a Random vote, I was convinced with that many players that it would only help us.

I probably would have gotten lynched eventually, but I had at least a few of you on my side (I'm looking at you Key  ) and we probably could have strung up Wombat and Sakaea if I was alive.

We were then going to NK Player. Who turned out to be quite important.

Then I got modkilled. Crap hit the fan.

Due to some night discussion, we changed up who we were going to kill. Pff.

Then player Revealed. So Tiink pulled a hail mary and boom! It worked! Totally Epic Win for Tiink. We got player lynched.

By the way, Wombat, when you HERP DERPed... I laughed soooooo hard.

Of course that was a sacrificial desperate play and Tiink went down fast.

Trench was in pretty safe waters to kind of ride out the rest of the game in semi-obscurity.

.

.

.

Then leelou happened.

So, our inability to lynch power roles and a series of unfortunate events got us in the end. *le sigh*
