I dont like half reveals before the player is at L3, myself. GF's half reveal seemed fishy to me. But Min's reveal durring the night makes me very suspicious of her. I dont understand revealing at that point. Vote Min I will switch my vote to BG or Gf if the group wants to go that way.

I am going to take Keys's points and refute them. I will try to not be "overly defensive".

 

Red went for a No Lynch on day one in the last game, and flipped Mafia. Possible Pattern or Coincidence?

 

This is a simple fact. In the last game I played with Red, she was screaming for a No Lynch on the first day. Given that a No Lynch is kind of a cop out to really voting, I find it very suspicious that she is going to say No Lynch on two games. I was bringing up that this was only my second game with her, and perhaps others had noticed that she always said no Lynch at the beginning of a game, Mafia or Not. In my experience with her, she had said no Lynch, and turned out Mafia. I was asking for other's opinions of her game play.

 

Yes GF I'm anticipating night. Get day 1 random quotefest over. Why do scum have to be waiting for night? Can't finders, lie detectors, bogs and other roles be excited?

 

I know GF already sort of touched on this, but I wanted to point it back out again. I know that there is numerous roles that have fun at night, and I can see that being a good excuse, but I still really have a bad feeling about you saying this. This has added JackD to my list of suspicion.

 

I am not going to call it noobyness, although it feels like that, but now on playing my fourth game, I see how pointless Day 1 really is. At the start of this game, I thought that Day 1 was really important to see where people lay. Now, I would prefer to get through Day 1 as fast as possible and get to casing scum. My apologies to Jack on getting on him for this.

 

 

Ugh.... I fear there isn't enough to incriminate Blackhoof, and he says he has a power role.... But the votes are sliding that way. Gah! Given that I don't know if I will be back online before the hammer falls and I don't want us to just miss the deadline....

I didn't think there was enough proof that Hoof was scummy, but I knew I might not be back on, and I didn't want it to end up in a random lynch just because we were short a vote and I was gone during the day. I could have easily removed it later on, and wanted to make sure that it wasn't a random lynch, but a controlled lynch that most people felt was the way to go.

 

Hmmm FoS on me because I wanted to make sure my vote got counted and I would rather it be a controlled lynch than a random.org lynch?

25 Alive so 13 to Lynch. Looks like it is going towards Moon or Min. Gah I don't know which one to vote for, but one of the two is going to flip.

 

I like to place my vote on those that I feel are scum. I was truly torn as to which was mafia, and I couldn't make a decision.

 

Is it possible for the Mafia to have two silences? There were so many silent, at least one other had to purposely have been silenced. Or is that not possible? I knew you were too quiet Wombat, welcome back!

 

On the Mafia thread explaining advanced games, it says that any combination or anything imaginable can be in this. I was asking if anyone else thought it a possibility there could be two silencers. Two people were claiming silence, and there was a ton of people quiet. Is it so hard to imagine two silencers?

 

Wow really? I have never played an Advance game, so I was simply asking if it was possible for there to be two silences? What if there is two mafias? Can't they both get a silence? I was not defending her at all, as I have pointed out numerous times that I think she is scummy. I was questioning the possibility of whether or not she still could have been silenced.

 

That being said, who is to say Wombat really was silenced? Moon could log on lter and say she was silenced. Then so could some of the other players. We can't really know who was silenced for certain.

 

Now, I am not saying I don't think Wombat was silenced. I see no reason for him to silence himself, unless he wants to put up the radar on AJ and Red, but radars were already up on them without him being silenced.

Moon barely scraped by but only because she was silent. I am still leaning towards Jack and Moon, but Red is also out there in my line of sight. Should be interesting to see what happens at the end of the night.

 

I did not give support to Moon for being silenced. I was simply pointing out that she was silent, and numerous people did not want to vote for her unless she defended herself. that's a simple fact.

 

Eh, this is only my third mafia game since my rejoin of DM, and it has been a while, and this is my first Advanced, so if I smell newish, it may be that. Just sayin. I asked if there could be two silencers and y'all laughed at me. Then I asked if there could be two Mafia teams, and someone screamed scum. Idk, was just asking if that might be the case.

 

Like I said above, anything is possible, and I was asking if anyone else was considering that possibility.

 

That being said, over half of the current people alive are voting, and our votes are pretty evenly split. People keep going back and forth between Red and Moon, whether because of band wagoning or trying to have a controlled lynch today, I don't know.

 

Someone mentioned that one of the two is most likely scum, and I have to agree. More than likely, if we lynch one and they flip town, the people that voted for them are mafia. If they flip mafia, then the votes on the other person is the mafia. But of course, this means that there is probably innocents mixed in.

 

With this reasoning, at this point it makes me think that Red is the innocent, since there is more people on her, as more than likely that's the mafia team and a few innocents. It is probably the people that haven't been flipping too. Going to guess the flippers are the innocents.

 

Combining that reasoning with the fact that I really just don't see there being two silencers, and that only one person has turned up silenced today, I am going to say Vote Moon.

 

I guess that it made sense in my head but I didn't explain very well. I honestly don't know what I was thinking when I posted that. It made sense then.

Hmm... I'm not quite sure, which one I find more scummy, Min or Christine, but as Christine gave pretty good defense, I won't vote her (today). I still think she might be scum, a bit more than the others, but something in Min just smells fishy. Also GF seems kind of odd, and I dislike the way he uses probabilities to "clear" people (though I admit that there is point there, after all, I've studied that much mathematics that I know something about probabilities). I've in the past played werewolf-games, where we usually did one of the two things: started lynching people from the top of the list, and using probabilities after few lynches, we started targetting people. The other option was that we would lynch the person who is above or below of the person who died at night. Both were effective methods at finding werewolves, but were darn boring.

So, we've only got about 36 hours for deadline. Sounds like a lot, but that time can fly depending on people's schedules. We've got 9 out of 15 people voting. It looks like we are either looking at Christine or Min today. Hopefully when people come on they will give an opinion somewhere and place their vote as they see fit.

 

As for me, I'm torn. My current suspect list is as follows:

 

GF - Was at the top of my list before the day started for many reasons, his reveal makes me want to hear more.

Min - Has been like on a slow burner the whole game without too much happening, finally coming to a boil over the past game day in my eyes.

Christine - Has had some odd behavior which she attempted to explain for now.

Wombat - Gives me an odd feeling all game, Red hammer after self-vote, kind of lurkish behavior yet still around to be on every vote.

 

Then the lurkers have me worried too for lurkers sake.
