Berf is panicking and asking for reasons why the lynch on him is building when it has already been explained a few times.

 

BTW, Walls of Text are pretty much Red's play style, so I don't see anything particularly scum in it right now.

So to clarify, what's the case against me?

 

Basically it was you contradicting yourself and making it look like you were trying to back off the lynch big time that did it for me. You were the one who started the lynch, and you later said you agreed with the thing that you voted for Phelix for. Doesn't make sense, and looks like trying to appear innocent.

I dont get it, I was town last game and when they accused me I reacted by asking what the reasons I was pinged as scummy. No one had reasons but the chaos monger lead the charge as was wrong about 3 other lynches he started.SO 4 town dead at his hands but everyone kept following.

So what I think is that someone here is starting this and getting other scum to follow along. I will look over the posts in a few but someone else besides Black fishy here and I don't think it is Berf at all

Basically there, people are more willing to follow big players. Everyone is wrong sometimes, but eventually it will lead to a lynch on the person if they are wrong enough.

 

And Berf, on you r defenses, I realize what you are trying to say, but what it looks like to me, is what I do every time I'm mafia, and in danger of getting lynched. I stall, claim innocence, point out others, etc., and to me, that's what it looks like you are doing.

 

So unless Blackhoof actually does something TODAY that looks scummy, instead of just erratic, my vote is very likely to stay on you.

this is a good point. metagamming here, but i find it wierd as well that Womby is still playing like he normally does on Day 1. in games, by now he usually has a good case for why he suspects people and starts alot of convo.

 

 

All I'm saying is that the BA gain a lot of ground with my death. Red may have some ideas.

 

why would i have some ideas?? your dead so you can't answer now, which sucks; but i'm at an absolute loss as to why you would put a target on my back with this statment.

 

 

I'm willing to listen to suggestions to improve this plan. At this point, I'm pretty much done anyway, so even if the plan makes me a BA target, it's no worse than the situ I find myself in now. Be wary of those trying to crush this plan quickly without considering the merrits.

 

tbh, had you not been lynched, i doubt you would have been NKd. as far as the scum woudl be concerned, you woudl be a likely candidate for lynching Day 3 and woudln't waste a kill on you that way they could direct the town towards you again. especially since we know now your town; thats how i would play it if i was scum and you hadn't gotten lynched anyways.

 

 

It's interesting that Red brings up L-5 being a good number, when that's normally not true.

L-5 is the half way point to his lynch, his lynch built up way fast (which i expressed concern about earlier) and he had yet to give a case agaisnt why he shoudln't be lynched so i had little to judge on for a reaction. with no deadline, i saw no reason to put him over the halfway poitn and allow for the scum to quickly hammer him without making a good judgment call for myself.

Well, unfortunately he had plenty of time to offer a defense...and didn't. He posted in between almost every vote for him but didn't give any answers. I mean, he looked pretty scummy with those contradictory statements regarding Phelix and the number 3.

i still don't like how quickly the lynch built; relaly there was no reason to rush it being that we didn't have a deadline and 3 very good candidates to pressure.

This post struck me as someone who might have known that Berf would flip innocent. Curt if you go back and read some of the posts more carefully you'll see that there was a case against him, and ask Krak pointed out he offered little defense. You coming out as the sole voice in defense of him is suspicious.

 

I do agree though that the lynch built quickly, and I think there might be something to be learned by looking at people's rationales for voting.

There were reasons against you in that game... besides you never told us you were the freaking Doctor which would have saved your skin in the end, methinks... similarly since we are allowed to give our names in this game, A simple, "I'm Elayne" probably would have put a slow down on this lynch, mighta swung back over to Blackhoof even.

I said that because I was in a similar situation. One person so I was scum then everyone jumps in on the bandwagon, posting the same argument. He gave an explanation on the contradiction but then everyone kept posting the same thing over and over. The nose was already on regardless of what he would say.

There were no good reasons. As I said and what I think is happening here is one guy is letting everyone lead them around.

Why would have been the point of saying I was the healer? So then I become the target for the rest of the game. I would have to waste my NA on healing myself or hope someone would divert a kill. Same for him so he doesnt get lynched, he now has a red X

Better for a Townie to be NK'd than Lynched. At the very worst it gives the town one more day in the end, while they kill at night instead of getting the lynch in the day. Which is still an advantage. Anyway, different game. The idea is the same though, Elayne should have revealed. It would have stayed my vote for sure.

Blackie - if were talking about a possible Cult, my money would be on Messana tbh. she was a collector of sorts and built up a nice collection of people via compulasion.

i agree. out of those votes i find BG & leelou's vote to be the most scummiest. they cam in quickly, and put him over the edge of votes without giving him a chance to reveal or counter any more arguements put forward. agian, had we hada deadline, it woudl be a different story, but Song, BG, Leelou; what was the rush?

call me egotistical, but with Austs reason ... the "discussig things which shouldn't be discussed" ... shouldn't that also put me on the list as well, considering i was the other side of hat discussion abotu a possible SK instead of two scum groups. unless your talking about something else? and why are there subjects that are taboo'd in this game Womby?
