Im going to tackle this in the order that it was said on thread because I think it will make more sense that way.

So im talking at the beginging without knowing the finder reveal

Ok I just dont like this post. We still didnt have a deadline and were getting close to a lynch on Thorum but I actually agreed with her that I didnt find him particularly scummy. I wasnt sure who to vote for but after this Im defiantly leaning towards you MSC. She was in no way shape or form suggesting a "no lynch". She was actually just offering up a different option. Now she could have been defending a scum buddy or something, I would have bought that if you had said it, but you didnt so I really didnt like this post and it pinged me.

 

alannalynn, that was a rather strange post you made back there.Where's the hurry in ending day one on page seven? That's only good for the bad guys. Especially if it ends in a finder-reveal (why's that smiley twice in the list?)

And apparently you didn't read my post. I never said I wanted to end it page 7, I actually wanted to start a competing train and see what more discussion we could get because I wasn't sure you were scum.

Okay Thorum...that is interesting!UNVOTEI don't like the fact you aren't going to be around to discuss this. Just because I haven't unvoted means that I believe you are the Finder. At this stage I really don't think the Finder should reveal, if he is lying. We can work these things out later on. So some questions...What type of Finder are youAre they any quirks to the role?Are you an accurate finder?Are you a Paranoid finder?Give us some info about the role, so that if need be we can always check these things later?

Agreed Talya, the Finder definitely shouldn't reveal if this is a trap to lure him out. Bleh, there have been way too many day 1/early game finder reveals lately for my liking.

If I read your quote from the other game correctly, you apparently know that if you're active, you're in great danger of being lynched, but that you do well if you lie low. So I gotta ask, if you really are finder, why all the jumping around and drawing so much attention Day 1?I'm hesitant to lynch an uncontested finder Day 1, but this reveal smells fishy to me (maybe it's because I'm eating Long John Silver's :D). It's an easy way for scum to coast through the rest of the game unscathed.

I would like to know that too.

I also noticed that no one quickly hammered Thorum just after the reveal. To me this means two things

none of the scum who werent on him were online

or

they dont believe the reveal so this is possibly a ploy

(Im assuming the mafia would be willing to sacrifice a member for a finder, kinda like a pawn for a queen type deal)

I'm not sure the mafia would necessarily have come in and hammered him. Not on day 1, maybe if it had been later on in the game, if they could risk losing one person.

I am not in the habit of lynching after a reveal unlss there is more information to go on, and in light of Thorum revealing i am happy to changed my vote out to the equally scum pinging MCS

I have to agree with Player. You made sense with that post. Although I don't believe Thorum's reveal (something doesn't sit right with it to me) it's stupid to lynch an uncontested finder day one. If he's lying, I'd advise the real finder to stay hidden for now. Of course, that's ultimately your decision, finder.

Anyway Thorum, i meant that if you were lying then the real finder shouldn't reveal.

However being L-1 I can't think of anything else you could have done, if you ARE the Finder.

 

 

If. I'm with Player on this, and don't really buy it. He didn't act like a key town role, imo. I know if I was on the block with that role, I'd try to be a lil more persuasive before letting it get to L-1. It's happened before. LMAO

Player, when I answer your question I though you had aimed it at what i said, I didn't realise you meant Alanna. But I agree with AJ, him is a word people use all the time meaning anyone, not just the gender. But that is just me.

Well, my role PM said, "the town finder". I know it kind of sounds like hogwash, but Thorum only did it to save himself from being lynched. While I am also doing that, it is only because I'm the true finder. So unless Kivam put multiple town finders in the game for poops and giggles, I was made Thorum's scapegoat, and I'm coincidently the real finder. Trust me, I would not be doing this if a voting train hadn't started on me.

First off - guys sorry for being absent. My basement wall started to cave in this week with massive amounts of melting snow and water, so I've been really tied up with that :\

 

 

 

Anyhow, my question is why the reveal now MCS? You weren't at L-1 were you? Thorum revealed because he had to but there was just a discussion that if it was a fake-claim that the real finder should remain hidden. Was there no other way for you to defend yourself without revealing?

Okay, you are all going to slate me for this, but I think as we have two wonderful Finders then we shouldn't lynch anyone today. Although Red said it as a joke. I believe the best option is to go for a No Lynch. Please bare with me, because I have a feeling there should be more information tomorrow and I think that one day without a lynch maybe better on this occasion. We have two claimed finders, now either one is scum and one isn't or they are both lying OR they ARE both telling the truth! There were quite a few people that didn't believe Thorum, more than usual in a game, which makes me wonder why.
