Pardon my frankness, but you seem to be talking out of two sides of your arse here. On one hand, you are clamming up and refusing to divulge any information, speaking like an Aes Sedai, when we could truly use the info on who you targeted to help us narrow things down in this ginormous game. You are taking the stance that you wont reveal the information to protect the name of your target.

 

Then, you wax on and wax off about how you are trying to get replaced and really don't give two shytes about the game anymore, only biding your time until you are either replaced or modkilled. If this is how you feel, then why are you refusing to help the town gain vital information?

 

I think I understand your role/character etc, but it is important for us (the town) to know who you targeted originally as we try and piece together the events from last night. It is clear that you didn't target Red like Songs says, but if we are to believe Songs, then you were redirected in some way and it would pay for us to know who you were redirected off of.

 

Again, I understand your role but right now we need as much information as possible. I respect your desire to protect info from the mafia, but at this point, not sharing info is only hurting us.

 

So please, forget the demands or threats, I wont be voting for you, but since you plan on leaving the game anyway, at least tell us the name of who you tried to target last night.

I don't think it's scummy for anyone to ask you who you targeted. Something obviously got really screwed up last night and so that's a way to unravel the mystery of why you guys targeted Red when you say you didn't target her.

Not the name of my target, but me. I'm not prone to revealing everything unless I'm ready to make a move somehow. And since I'm waiting to be replaced, I'd rather not have all the cards forced for that person already.

Oh, I give a shyte about not leaving a pos spot in the game for whoever takes over. But as to following the game..well, sorry. Information goes both ways, and from what I am reading as I skim, you have quite a lot.

Most of you already know. If the person who I targetted wants to speak up, let them. They stole from me. I will not leave a role to someone else where all they do is vote. It's like not even playing.

Pianoman has just got back from his course. I told you I was busy in the day so i dont know why you kept pushing for a reply. I wasnt lurking I was just busy.

 

anyway (I cant believe this) but I actually agree with ed. I will not tell you who I targeted. You are scummy for asking IMO. I dont think it is important enough at this point to tell you.

 

Let me clarify why it is important. Who you targeted is not helpful to the mafia, especially in a game this size. Who you targeted and why are very helpful to us (the town) in that we can further fill in the gaps in what happened last night. If we are to believe Songs, and we have little reason not to, then you and Ed were both redirected last night. It would help us out tremendously to know who you targeted.

 

What IS helpful to the scumafia is what your night actions were. We don't need to know those right now and it WOULD be good judgment to keep those to yourselves. Sure, this game is chock full of healers/finders/vigs/etc on both sides I'm sure, but right now the mafia have a lot of possible targets, we don't need to start narrowing them down for them.

 

Allow me to recap...

 

Songs targeted Red to gain info on everyone who visited Red.

Ed targeted ________ but targeted Red instead.

Piano targeted _______ but instead targeted Red.

Aust targeted ________ and has been quiet ever since.

Quibby targeted Red but was redirected to Aemon.

 

I suspect you both targeted Aemon and were redirected to Red, as Quibby went the other way. Am I correct on this?

 

Songs, my dear, did you receive notice that these people visited Red specifically, or that they visited the player you targeted last night? Is it possible that you were redirected last night to Aemon?

I targeted read and my results specifically say that Aust, ed, player, and Kwom targeted Red last night.

What we know:

 

Songs could not have been redirected because Kwom confirms that he targeted Red and not Aemon.

 

Ed and Piano claim to have targeted someone else, but are said to have targeted Red instead.

 

Ed says the person he targeted stole from him.

 

Aemon stole something from someone he feels is The Healer.

 

Aust has not posted since the beginning of Day 2.

 

Quibby claims to have targeted Red but ended up targeting Aemon instead.

 

Aemon claims to be the Dragon Stillborn but Red points out that he is not Rand.

I think things are beginning to make sense. I contend that one of the targets on Red was a form of Dark Friend nastiness and it wasn't from Ed or Songs. Kwom claims he was protecting her but was vague in how, not claiming to be a direct healer but protecting her "in my own way"

 

Aust is silent. Either he has been muted or is pretending to be mute. Doesn't mean he's innocent, he could have been muted by a townie or a reaction to targeting Red.

 

At this point, Piano might be our best bet. Thoughts?

I chose aemon last night. Not because i thought he was scum necessarily but because if he was false dragon he could have been a number of characters. Basically i got the PM back that I couldnt get any info from Aemon last night. (I wont give you the exact wording because it hints at my role too much). Im not entirely sure how much or what type of info my role gives me so it was a shot in the dark really but I thought I had more chance of useful info off him than Red

Im guessing ed targeted him to.

Fair enough. Piano targets Aemon but didn't get any info on him. Not exactly a finder, but someone who would likely make Van Hellsing proud I think, or the WOT equivalent.

 

I suspect that Ed also targeted Aemon and both were redirected. Quibby had the reverse happen to him, targeting Red but moved to Aemon, which Aemon confirms.

 

Songs is confirmed by Kwom.

I agree with that, but I'm running various scenarios in my mind and this is the list of those on the stage:

Quibby - confessed to targeting Red, only to be refuted by Songs. Aemon confirms that Quibby targeted him instead of Red.

Aeomon - Claims the Dragon Stillborn, but Red says he's NOT Rand. Stole an item from someone he believes to be a healer.

Ed2Funy - One of Red's 5, claimed to target someone else who stole something from him. I said die and he can't lie.

Piano - Red's 5 as well, targeted Aemon but didn't get a result, kinda like a finder but not, and further would reveal his nature. Hunter?

Kwom - confirms Songs accuracy, admits to targeting Red, but weakly claimed he was protecting her "in my own way"

Aust - also part of Red's 5, but cat got his tongue.

 

Who among these characters would a lynch give us the most information on?

Piano, you would have gotten info on Red not Aemon if you were successful in your action, correct? Elmer Fudd is a hunter and he hunts wabbits. When he visits Donald Duck, he doesn't shoot because it's not duck season its wabbit season. If he visits Buggs, then he likely does shoot because he's being vewwy vewwy quiet and hunting wabbits and such. Do you see any similarities in that and the nature of your role?

 

Or it could be more of a chance thing. Either way, your role is not the biggest threat to the mafia so I think you should be safe at least tonight.

The only problem I have with these scenarios is why didn't Player and Ed's roles work on Red? If Quibby targeted Red and Aemon was notified....then shouldn't vice versa happen as well?

 

Did Quibby ever say if his action went through on Aemon successfully?

I believe it was Red who mentioned everyone starting with an item? Not so my dear. Also with the two modkilled deaths he said item(s). One or both could have had an item or neither could have. Womby knows his stuff (I helped train him after all) and I think he'd say that even if neither one had an item just to keep us on our toes.

 

I'm wondering about Verbal's total lack of any real reason for voting for Aemon. Worth noting but not enough to go on.

 

I was going to mention the possibility of Aust being silenced as well. I'm suprised Locke is the only other one to have mentioned it. Aust is usually quite verbal in the games. (giggles)

I don't really have much to add to the discussion (mostly because I don't have the time at the moment), but I'd like to remind that we should not believe people who claim they can't lie: we know how AS oaths work: they can't speak a word they think is a lie. So if they have been misinformed (why couldn't they be misinformed?) they can lie without knowing it and we all know that it is not forbidden to falsely hint character. So anyone can claim to be AS and say "I can't lie", but we wouldn't know for sure.

 

I've tried to read all the messages though it is pretty hard as you are the most active when I'm sleeping and I have some five pages of replies to read. Anyways I think Aust looks like scummy, though I wouldn't like to hang him before hearing more of him. As someone pointed out, he could be silenced? And something at ed2's words make me think he is a scum, but I can't really get what it is. I shall try to do some rereading after my school is over today.
