'ello Freelanders board!

 

So I'd like to make some kind of 'freelander' character - what do you think would be the best society to create one in? I'd like to have at least one other person to rp with, so unfortunately that leaves a few out.

 

Aiel?

Seanchan?

The thing is love, at the moment there are very little active FL's but that is gradually changing with each brave new member joining :) I'm acting as a sort of Jack'of'all'trades for now, which means I'll RP with anyone that needs a partner in whatever Guild they end up to be. That also means, however, that it might be a bit slow since I have to distribute my time between RP'ing, working on the build up and setup of the FL and keeping an eye on my Social Reds (plus the stuff I have going on in real life).

 

I am, however, in dying need of someone to help out on the Aiel Guild since poor amegakure is currently the only one active in that Guild and stalled in his progression due to lack of people to RP with.

 

Sorry if my ramblings made no sense, just woke up and not had my coffee yet so I'm in my zombie-state LOL.

If I make an Aiel, may I make a Wise One off the bat, or do I need to do some kind of training?

 

Honestly curious (which is apparently my new favorite word *laughs*) - if you want me to do training I will, if not, cool.

Standard, Wise Ones should go through the training sessions, but I'm willing to comprimise because we don't have any full Wise Ones at the moment and we need them to interact with new members.

 

This is what I propose:

 

You can bio her up to the point where she becomes an apprentice and then write a solo RP covering her apprentice training, character development and second trip to Rhuidean. The first RP must then be her return to the Wise Ones as one of them and her installment as a Wise Ones among the Aiel.

 

I will allow up to 5 members to go through it like this, provided they put in the necessary effort to make their background bio and rp sufficiently fleshed out. You'll be the first.

Also, if I want my character to be a dreamwalker and/or, do you want me to include that in my solo rp, or do you want me to do extra rps with an NPC wise one involved?

Sis! *licks* :D If you're interested in creating an Aiel, take a look at their brand spanking new website here. Keep in mind though, the site is not anywhere ready yet (though the Aiel, Seafolk, Kin and Ogier sections are finished contentwise). Still needs a lot of work, but you should be able to find what you need to create Aiel and RP them.

Yes, the DR has brought them out of the Waste, but I have no idea where exactly they are located currently. I'll need to look that up, though the old Aiel members are all gone, so not quite sure how to find that information.

 

You can make your character a dreamwalker, but you'll need to do an RP about her training in it. You could do two seperate solo RP's (one for your apprentice training and one for your dreamwalking training) or you can do one long one, incorporating both.

 

 

 

Note to anyone reading this: the above agreement is on a case to case basis and NOT to be taken as a free card for all. Keyholder is receiving these priveleges as there are literally no active Wise Ones currently in the Aiel Guild. Not only will she help in providing an active Wise One for new members to RP with, but she'll also be able to participate in any training sessions needed for advancement for general Aiel members. In other words, if you wish to jump to the rank of Wise One immediatly, contact me and I'll assess the situation as it is at the time. Remember: you are joining the PSW to roleplay, not to sit and pollish shiny titles ;)
