Things that would make you angry

So I'm curious as to read what events would trigger you to be anry about them should they happen in the last two books.

 

 

For me that would be:

 

Moiraine dying right after being freed (that would seriously suck bullets)

The One Power and channeling going extinct (if I wanted reality, I'd watch the news )

The Shaido turning out to be the 'remnant of a remnant' (being as they're headed back to the Waste and leave the others to deal with TG)

Fail(e) ending up as queen lalablah.

Loial dying rescueing Fail(e). grrrr

Fortuona (mslf) leashing Rand.

 

Myrelle not giving Nyn the bond.

 

Gawyn killing Rand.

 

Min dying before she figures out what Herid Fel meant.

 

Min dying.

 

Cyndane seducing Rand.

 

The Seanchan invading Illian (they should be making a truce FHS, King Rand doesn't have time to waste on this nonsense!!).

 

Mat's luck deserting him at the crucial moment.

Something that would make me angry is Cadsuane dying as a hero, I just want her ripped to bits, maybe the Gholam killing her would suit

Brandon Sanderson getting hit by a truck on the interstate, leaving Harriet to try to figure out how to finish AMOL herself or with another new author. Which would delay AMOL for at least one additional year.

 

Brandon, please stay safely at home and let someone else do the grocery shopping, at least until you finish the rough draft for AMOL.

 

EDIT: Note to self: BRANDON, not BRIAN. Oops. I was a bit too tired when I wrote this. Maybe he'll be called Brian when the wheel turns and the next age comes to pass.

Mystica, I fear that the Shaido will be the remnant of a remnant too. It looks to be shaping up that way to me.

 

I don't really know what will make me angry but I will be disappointed if Cadsuane does not get a lesson in humility.

But it's been a few books since we've had an epic Rand vs Forsaken Saidin fight on the same level as Rand vs Asmodean, Rand vs Ishy or Rand vs Rhavin.

 

I want Rand to smoke Demndred hard and propper, Balefire style

2) Egwene becoming the leader of both male and female channelers. She's too full of herself as is.

3) Mat dying.

4) The Wheel becoming linear.

5) Moiraine being evil when she returns or something.

6) Cadsuane being lauded as right in how she 'fixed' Rand. When all she did is basically lead him to nearly destroying the world.

Rand led himself there. Cadsuane helped prevent it, if anything. Rand was headed off the edge of the cliff before Tam got there - he was about to go destroy the Seanchan alone. If his moment with Tam hadn't unnerved him so much, he wouldn't have taken the time to reconsider.

I'm sorry, but I disagree. Cadsuane's high-handed and rather hypocritical actions pushed him along the way. Was Rand responsible too? Certainly. But Cadsuane helped.

Rand dying for three days. So far, all the simpleminded Christ parallels have been in the minds of unreliable characters (e.g. Masema). I really hope the story doesn't do anything that obvious.

I agree with this. A lot of people have always missjudged Cadsuane in my eyes. yes she's tough as army cookies, doesn't take any nonsense and in the end is still human, just like all the rest of them. But without her Tam would not have been there, Rand would not have freaked himself out to such an extend that he actually started to question himself for the first time in a LONG time (he was increasingly becoming a dictator in all manners of ways) and the scene on Dragonmount would never have happened and 'he laughed and said, We won again, Lews Therin' would have been the only outcome then.

 

Caddy has her faults, yes, but she was crucial in the events that unfolded. I'd like to see any of us remaining humble and whatnot after having fought the Shadow for over 3 centuries. See how much patience and understanding and indulgence we'd have after 300 years. We're already jumping to judgement and conclusions after (at best) a few decades.

Ditto, I really don't want this to turn out to be another Messiah type story.... No offense to any religion, but that would seriously suck for me.

What exactly 'fell' in her lap? She never asked to become Amyrlin, she was pushed into it by the Sitters who thought to get their hands on an easy puppet. That she turned out to be a 'real' Amyrlin is hardly something to reproach her. If not for her the entire Tower would have been leashed. And let's not forget that everything she got, she earned by learning and by trial and trebulation. Fell in her lap? I'd like to see any of us go through the multiple lashings she got while being a prisoner and see how well we'd do.

her whole salidar -> reaching the tower everything just seemed to be there for her, she just had to reach out and grab em like coins in an old mario game.

 

as for saying she had to step carefully blah blah blah. All she had to do is keep going and then she got everything easily like the two main AS contending for power totally ignored her which seems really fake to me because if I had an obvious rival and a puppet was put in ahead of me I would watch the puppet twice as hard as my rival just to watch if anyone else was workin on pullin strings

 

plus in the tower it seemed like she got the respect of all the AS too easily for me, and then theres her thinkin I am a hero from the horn called to wreck vengeance upon the enemy (paraphrased) sure she was a bit delerious but it still angers me

I'd be really pissed if we have to sit through another book without finding out who killed Asmodean. It's a dead storyline that neither adds nor detracts from any ongoing plots, so just throw it in as a random comment in an unrelated scene just to give a fracking answer already.
