Congratulations!

Although, you do make me yearn for those younger days. Or, maybe not so much. Mine were well spent.

Here's hoping you live yours to the fullest.

Live your life so as to make those who went before proud to be your ancestors, and those who come after proud to be your descendants.

Happy Birthday, Master Dude ! Twenty - how is the mid-life crisis? Just kidding. I do not know how exactly you will celebrate it, but I hope your friends and/or family at least cherish you more than usual on this day...if they are too cheap to buy you a present. I know everyone in the Black Tower will, in their own crazy way. Speaking of which, I need to make you a card of sorts; I will not be able to do it until later, though, because the university computers do not let you use such programs. Until then - a birthday song !

Hoch soll er Leben !

Hoch soll er Leben !

Dreimal hoch !

Meister Kumpel!

Meister Kumpel!

Meister Kumpel!

Erm...in English, for everyone to sing !

Long may he live !

Long may he live !

Three cheers !

Happy B-Day TMD!!!

Your ass still can't go to the bar though lol

Unless you come to Canada, where the drinking age is 19, or 18 in some provinces!

In Deutschland, you only have to be sixteen to drink without any impugnity. Weak drinks, though; you must be 18 to drink spirits and such things. I never understood why it is so high in the U.S.

I think the biggest thing that irratates me is you can serve your country here, but you can't drink >_>

Expansion to that...If you're male you can get DRAFTED at 18 and not drink alcohol.

I believe that legal drinking age should be set up like Europe is. You can legally drink at 18 (which is better because you're parents can still be responsible for how much you drink since you most likely are still in High School and staying at home at age 18). And if you get a DUI you lose your driving license FOREVER! No one should be able to get a DUI and be able to do it again if they want just after a little jail time and some money payed.

Well, you know, before you could lower the drinking age, you would need some incentive to make the alcohol content in the beer lower. In Deutschland, at least, the beer's alcohol level is a lot lower than what is allowed in America, meaning you can drink the same amount as someone in the U.S. and not be so drunk. I think it might be a mentality, too, if you know what I am saying.
