David Gilmour featuring David Bowie "Comfortably Numb"

 

 

okay hearing Bowie do the vocals is a bit freaky.. well really freaky *shudders*  ofcourse i've never been a fan of any of the other artists enditions of any Pink Floyd songs.  *glares*  especaily the korn remake, they should seriously be slapped for that.

 

but Gilmour is absolutley awesome!!  his volcals are just like back in original and the solo at the end is absolutley amazing.  left me near breathless.  it starts up at 4mins 38 secs.  just close your eyes and nodd to the music, this guy is the ultimate guitar god in my book.

 

really wish Roger and David would make amends and do a "Wall" tour.  though for what its worth, Rogers vocals are crap ... too many drugs and all.  was at the 06 Darkside of the Moon tour when it went to VA

I'm actually going to see Leaves' Eyes when they come to London in March this year as support to Kamelot. I also like Midnattsol and their nordic-style of metal. And the week before I am off to see Delain as well.

 

Just finished listening to Crucified by Atargatis (via iTunes).

And I wish I lived in mainland Europe, as most tour there! The crossing of the channel to get to the UK seems to challenge most bands! lol! I was tempted to go to Holland to see Within Temptation for their acoustic tour, but cost stopped me.

 

Currently listening to This Love by Maroon 5 (via iTunes)
