With any halfway decent mafia team they would have all ready have found the character list for the theme of mafia and would have it on their quick topic with what false reveals they will use.

 

The town is a bunch of individuals on their own we need to cooperate and spread information as much as possible, information that the mafia can't use against us. What the mafia loves is using our paranoia and suspicion against us.

 

Either way the death scene will clear or brand one of us.

 

I think the deadline is approaching and only 3 of the 10 people playing have voted. I agree with Dark Justice about inactivity...

Yes, its very hard to play when activity is low, I tend to try to only post when I have something new to add, but its hard to do that when there isn't more info to comment on. I know that by not posting I'm not giving any info for others to go on either (cause I don't have any) and I'm aware that if we all do that then nothing will get posted. I didn't say its a perfect system, but I'm still finding my style...I'm just letting you guys know I'm here, but I just don't what I can add right now!

Nope simply encouraging someone to come out. Normally it isn't wise for the cop to counter claim, however we can't assume that Matilda is the cop, she may be the doctor which is more likely. Or she might not be either of those roles. Either way it isn't a horrible idea to counter a character name.

 

And I don't have any team mates. I'm not anti-town and I'm not on a team with any other townies.

I don't know about anyone else, but this sounds like role-fishing. You covered your trail later in the post, but I still disapprove of anything that could be taken as role-fishing.

 

al jenn, why the "!$% would you post that??? you just named EVERY character we could have in the game.... You just cost us one of the ways to win....

Im assuming everyone that plays this game has a character/name. (I know I do...)

IF we would have decided to reveal role names, we could have gotten closer to a "double call" on one of the character/names, hence closer to a mafia.. Since you revealed ALL the characters in the movie, it makes it a LOT more difficult. It is ONE of the ways to make us win more easy..

In games like these, you will always gain advantage by at least have the option to mass reveal... (doesn't always pay off, but the option is still there...)

 

Now all the mafia have to do is chose one silly character from your list, less likely to be one taken by another, making the "eliminate by character" play a hell of a lot harder.....

Al Jenn is correct, it's not hard to look up a character list, and honestly, it's better if the town is aware of the larger number of more likely characters and who they may be, so if the mafia pulls out a random character they can be called out for the unlikelihood of that character being in the game.

Day 1 is usually random BS anyways, I don't see the source of your frustration. It's building something out of the randomness that is more important than a good lynch on day 1. And really, we got lucky and got a (most likely) inactive bad-guy.

You need a two-thirds majority for a lynch. If there is no majority I will lynch a random player who did not vote.

Ok so what we have is ed claiming finder and so far no counter claim but we have Al denying it bacause he is the accused (as anyone would)

 

If ed is lying its too early for most finders to come out and counter claim in my experiance. The thing that is getting me is the way ed is posting doesnt seem right and ditto for Al. Im leaning towards them both being mafia atm just because of the way they are going at it. Its confusing

 

Im going with Al cos Ive helped someone do what hes was doing before. Saying "I am town" so it might get looked at and show up as truth even if its not. When I did it we were both mafia and by saying "I am town" over and over they was trying to get looked at to show up innocent. Thats why im choosing Al. If they are both mafia then I think Al is more of a threat to the town.

firstly, helping the mafia team with info cause "a good mafia team would have thought of it" is silly..

second, though day one is random, you get more info from a normal lynch than a random one...

thirdly, Im not really THAT frustrated, I figured someone had to start playing the game soon...

It was time, it was...a walk off. Derek and Hansel were going at it, each matching the other in skill and precision. It was getting intense. Hansel decided there was only one thing he could do. He went monk. All eyes were on him as he somehow miraculously pulled out his underwear, in what seemed like an impossible feat. Finally the crowd began to look back over toward Derek, to see what his response would be. But what they found was his body laying limp, in a pile of blood.

Night 2 has begun.

Screams began to fill the room. How could it be true was he really dead? Everyone was so completely devastated by the sight of his body, that they couldn't focus on anything but mourning his death.

Sorry guys, its a holiday here and my computer was making a weird noise yesterday when I was on it so I didn't turn it back on till my hubby checked it a few minutes ago. I'm gonna be gone most of the day, but since its night its not too bad. It should be fine now and so I should be around tomorrow. He didn't really do anything to fix it, just turned it on its side and the sound stopped, so if I'm not on tomorrow its because my computer needs fixing.
