[FAST] Assassins in the Palace - Signups Closed

Ok, peeps.  Here's a Fast game for you - some may not have played this before, but I assure you it's easy and fun.

 

This is a 7-8 player game called Assassins in the Palace.  It is a variant, with a couple of small rule changes.

 

-- There is one King, one Assassin, and the remainder are all Guards who are told only the identity of the King.

-- The Assassin has one kill that they can use at any time during the game, even immediately after they are lynched.

-- All Guards know who the King is.

-- The King does not know who anybody is.

-- There are no night phases, and therefore no night kills.  Upon a lynch, the game will move to the next day phase and continue.

-- There is no deadline for a day phase.  If the game lags, I will impose one.

-- Please glow your votes [glow=red,2,300]red[/glow], and [glow=red,2,300]unvote[/glow] before voting for another.

-- There is no quoting (or paraphrasing) Mod PMs.

-- There is no editing of posts.

-- You may only communicate off-thread if you have been told via Mod PM that you can.

-- Failure to abide by these rules will result in an immediate Modkill.

Awesome.  I've got the 7 I need to start, but I can always have 1 more if somebody wants to jump in.

 

Also, as a fast game, inactivity cannot be tolerated.  If you have something that will cause you to miss a day or two, please don't play.  Fast games are a different breed, and must be active to be fun.

No worries - PM me if you have specific questions, even before the game starts.  I'll hold off for that last person, and I'm not starting over the weekend anyway.  The game will start up on Monday.

No worries!  I'm going to be running fast games every other week or so (rotating several variants), so you'll have your shot soon.
