I am certain we will see Loial in ToM.

Brandon said that all of the (main i suppose) characters that were not in tGS would be in ToM, im not sure if Loial and the stump will actually reach a conclusion by the end of ToM (although I do think they will) but it is pretty certain that there will be at least SOME screen time with Loial.

It's funny how everyone believe the ogier will give up their way of peace and pick up weapons to fight. I'm not so certain.

Also this part of the loial arc resemble alot like LotR, when the ents debate on going to war.

Yeah, it does resemble the ents doesnt it?

ON your other point, the Ogier dont exactly follow the way of the Leaf, they arnt tinkers, they are just slow to anger and have no reason as yet to fight. (Noone has invaded any steddings or waged war on Ogier, and there have only been Human wars, which are, to Ogier, pointless)

Yeah, they are pretty peaceful, but not Tinkers. They fought with men (and women) in the War of Power, and they most likely will do again. Like Loial and Haman, they dont LIKE fighting, but they have no objections (really) to doing it like Tinkers.

Just look at how quick Elder Haman ditched "the way of peace" when Trollocs attacked in KoD.

There's no way the Ogier will sit idly back and do nothing the entire series.  If they are needed to fight the DO or whatever, I'm sure the Elders are well aware that that affects them just as much as humans.

The [few] awesome times we get to see an Ogier get physical (Loial at the Battle for Emond's Field, f.e.) are so cool, I would be pretty disappointed if the Ogier's ferocity and power were ignored during the (I assume) most action packed portion of the entire series.

Weve had one POV from Loial, in KoD, and i liked it. Loials actualy so brave and hardcore but in his mind hes this slow-paced book worm. I really hope we get some POV's from him, especially if Brandon is able to get the thing where characters think one thing in their mind, then do another.

I want an Elder to come toe to toe with a Gardner sooo bad. And what is the deal about 'The Book of Translation'? Are the ogier going to transcend to another land or something? All LoTR elf like. That would really suck to have that story played out again.
