As you journey into the abyss, you have a quick skirmish with some orcs, which you easily win. You see some sort of undead in the distance, but avoid them by taking a quick turn first. As you trudge through the maze-like halls, you argue over who may have done last nights killings. Most of you really feel that Krak was responsible. When you pass a gelatinous cube (isn’t that the dumbest monster ever?) moving slowly towards you, Pete thinks fast, and trips Krak, causing him to fall into it, while the rest of you move on.

I'm gonna go with Pete on this one. Looking back, Tigs was right. That was a very fast change from "Pete is scum" to "Krak is scum". I have to admit that ability to tell scum in this games seems to be at an all time low. I thought Amadine and Krak were both scum and they turned up innocent. If there is a vig out there. Take as much time as you need to be sure. Too many townies are down.

I'd really like to know why Krak didn't heal Ed. Did he not trust Ed's reveal? Did he forget to send in a night action? Was he roleblocked (unlikely in a game this size)? What happened there?

You guys are loosing your marbles.

 

Krak - random role reveals are bad. There has been a rash of early reveals lately and in those cases, the mafia do benefit. However, if a roled townie is about to get lynched, you ALWAYS reveal, to try and preserve your role for the town. As soon as their is a finder or healer reveal, a lynch against will stop, and unless there is a counter claim, it will be assumed you are telling the truth until proven otherwise.

 

There are a few accepted practices in this game that always benefit the town, so everybody knows that they will be played that way. That is one of them.

 

Pete - you are beginning to chaffe my butt. If you are scum, you'd best kill me tonight. Or, if you're feeling spunky, leave me alive so that I can hang your @$$ tomorrow.

 

Aemon - Pay attention to the voting patterns. And re-read my posts (pretend you didn't already decide I was mafia before the game started :P )

 

 

Here's what I think - We won't see another two deaths tonight - the game would be badly outweighed if we did, and Lily has more experience than that.

 

If the mafia are smart, they'll kill me. If that happens, lynch Pete - his entire focus is on trying to lynch me. He's not even paying attention to the rest of the players or the game, he's just zeroed in on me, and that's cause enough to suspect him.

 

After that, I'd start looking at the lurkers.  Rose does seem shady, but so did Amadine and Krak. MCS could easily be lurking. Tigs is playing a perfect game to be mafia...

 

Looking at the voting patterns, I was ready to clear Aemon, Pete, Adella, and David, but Pete is either mafia or not paying attention, so we'll see.

In the mean time, Pete, why don't you go ahead and lay your case out against me? Just go ahead and post all of the things you feel like are mafia moves on my part. heh

Firstly, I want to say that rose voted me first then I voted her, so she didn't vote me out of self-defence. And btw don't vote me because I made a typo, that's stupid because I might be a townie and so you would only be benefitting the mafia.

Secondly, I'm innocent and just to let you townies know I have no special powers, and I'm not the vigilante. Krak why didn't you reveal?

Thirdly, I honestly feel DPR is innocent because he's taking a sort of teacher's role in this game, which makes me feel that he's innocent.

Fourthly, Pete, explain why you think DPR is mafia.

Fifthly, is it possible that Krak was a healer for the mafia? Or is the "cleric" an innocent role?

And, finally, I was afraid that this might happen(ie two townies dying) so we're in for a hard time. With six townies left, only four more have to die before the mafia win. So, this night one townie is going to die by a night-kill. Then the SK/vig. is going to kill another townie, the probability of this happenning is extremely high. So if we don't lynch a mafia in Day 3 we WILL LOSE!

Thirdly, completely metagaming here but DPR is known as the helpful scum

 

Fourthly, because of my win condition, and the way my role is worded. DPR the way you over reacted to David's rle reveal, makes me believe you don't know the vanilla, or the innocent win condition and you haven't read the pm. Also I have suspicouns on your other teammate, you are occupying most of my time, because you are the one I am certain of is scum. If I beleived you were innocent then I wouldn't be gunning for you. I never just go all out for one person without considering all aspects of this game.

Actually the mafia only have to kill two more townies until they win, unless there is just one more mafia member and a serial killer.

Yep, Aemon i s right; the last mafia is Rose.  On day 1, when the lynch on Min ewas building, Min voted for David, then Rose, then Krak.

 

Those are your mafia.

 

Also, I don't think we're looking at an SK tonight - it would be too high-powered of a role for a 12 player game. (I figure David might be the Vig and got excited. R'm also wondering about Pete for a symp, but no matter...)

 

If I die, then it just makes tomorrow's lynch easier - Rose FTW!

 

Then there is this gem here. This post is just weird especially for you DPR. If that was the case then there should be four mafia, that is most likely wrong.

 

Secondly there still could be a sk, if the sk targets a mafia member then they have benefitted the town, and things are balanced again. I would highly suggest the sk go for mafia tonight, because if they don't the mafia will soon be at end game from the way things are looking.

 

And me as a symp, I would love to be a symp one game, but I am pretty sure there is none in this game. Then the mafia would have things tilted in there favor.

Krak, just to let you know, you and Wombat both tried similar things on the same day and neither of them worked!  If I'm not mistaken, Aemon has just kept quite and let us lynch him with an important role.

 

It bugs me more in this game because it's a role we really needed.

Tigs- actually, I was the one that voted for him first. I had no idea he was the healer. Judging from his day 1 voting pattern, he appeared scum. As did Amadine. Obviously they were not.

I'm not saying we didn't have good reason to lynch him, I'm referring to the fact that he didn't reveal and because he didn't reveal, we lost a very important role. 

 

Albeit, I don't understand why he didn't protect our finder.  I always assumed that with no counter claim then it was a given that the healer would protect the uncontested finder. Guess I was wrong.

 

Rose, I think that some people are trying to break away from the norm and try new things to keep from getting lynched.  The only thing that I have seen that has worked at all is faking the jester role.  But eventually that will bite you on the butt too, cause the mafia, after they are done hiding behind you for a while, will just NK you.
