The reasoning behind why I'm being voted for still baffles me. It doesn't make sense to just pick off members of the town because you think they aren't contributing, when you yourself claim to be town. Yeah, you can't be certain of who anyone is, but that does not change the fact that this is a team game. I'm starting to wonder if this is a mafia ploy, meant to be disguised as a random vote. Rather then throwing accusations at the person they want lynched, they are simply using more passive reasoning, which makes them seem less scummy.

Yep.  They even have a wellness room with a couch and pillows.  But I haven't had a chance.  I'm working on 4 hrs of sleep in the past 48 . . . and 9 in the past 72.  No fun at all.

I just went back tyo check, and you are absolutely right, Barm. I did vote for Crusher just to have a vote on someone (Kivam had just threatened deadline on us). Then day ended and Crusher was gone. Happened so fast I forgot that I forgot about that. I Had thought that I was still unable to vote at that time.

Can you elaborate?

DPR’s last game. I had the option to try to gain the trust of the healer to get their protection in order to switch my death for theirs if I was targeted. Yeah, as an innocent player too. You cannot convince me that any role other than the finder should sacrifice the healer, and even that one is a situation dependant sacrifice.

No accusations? I think I’ve posted enough questions and comments about actions to show when I think a move is questionable.  Your reasoning amuses me.

Verbal is very quiet which is different from how he usually plays.  Most likely he is just busy, but may bear watching.

 

To me, Kivam's posts about inactivity imply that Verbal is simply busy.  He mentioned Alanna and myself as the most inactive players and the most in danger of being modkilled and stated that everyone else had reasons for their inactivity. 

 

Plus, if I can indulge in metagaming a little, I've seen Verbal lurk early game both as town and mafia, and he's never been this inactive.  Either he's busy, or there's a silencer out there.

Also, Verbal has been quiet in all his games and I haven't really seen him posting much around DM either so I chalk that up to him being busy with work and baby and stuff.

Not that it matters now - no one is going to convince me to try and start a new bandwagon on Verbal just for not posting.

 

I hate to say - hell, I'd say it was scummy if somebody else did - but I think we're running around in circles. We need to lynch for info. My vote stays put unless there is some big reason to change it. C'mon people, let's get it on.

Just out of curiosity, is it common practice for a mod to tell when a player has been silenced, or is it generally something that the players need to figure out on their own?

It is the players' job to figure it out. Mod giving that info would potentially ruin a gambit or a secret.
