Go right on ahead guys, but she struck first. I know it only sounds like I'm trying to save my own skin, but there are others who seem much more suspicious then I. And I do have something to offer the town. Being ALIVE. Just because I don't happen to be as active and spinning theories left and right does not mean I can't help the town Alys. You have hardly played mafia with me, and if you did, you would know that I become more aggressive the more the game progresses. But I guess you've gotten me to come out of my shell, so kudos to you. I did not say I thought you were mafia. I'm suspisious of you sure, but it's a healthy strategy to be wary of everyone in this game unless you know who they are. Now let's make a list with some people on it shall we?

 

DPR - It might just be his playing style, but this guy mostly posts random crap. Is he active? Sure. Contributing to the town though? I'm sorry but I don't see it. Not enough to say that I think he's mafia, but this is also probably the way he usually plays.

 

Barm - I'm quite sure Barm has posted even less then I have in this game. Enough to say he's scum? No. But is he contributing more to the town then I? Also no. I think that like the most games out of the games I've played with Barm, he's alive for one reason. Because he's Barm. Again, not enough to say he's scum.

 

Pookie, Danya, Tigs, Wombat, Anox and Lavinaya - These people have been just as inactive as me, maybe a little bit less. Perhaps they have contributed more, and perhaps not.

 

So this game has had three main posters. Alys, DPR, and Nae. I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with this, but yeah, it can seem like some players are contributing so little when there are a few that are contributing soooo much. I'll give you credit Alys and Nae. You have definitely contributed to the game as far as understanding goes. But like I've been saying, a vote is what will make this game progress. I really don't want to have to be that person, but if that's the way it goes that's the way it goes. I thought the point of this game was to vote for people we thought were anti-town though.

Seriously, though, I am thinking about putting my vote for DPR. I won't put the vote until I can give you some solid reasons, so don't jump down my throat just yet. Wait till I give you my vote and my reasons, please.

 

Wow. I am absulutely shocked at the reaction to my post. You are the same group of people that jumped down my throat in other games with "don't say it unless you quote it". You are also attacking like a pack of wolves any person who happens to make a vote without giving solid reasons. Now, I was just letting you know where my vote was most likely to fall after finding the points that I want to make when I get home tonight. If y'all think it's scummy to give someone a heads up that I have some issues with them that I'm gonna address, y'all need some serious help.

Throwing suspicion on me? Before this weekend I'd posted considerably more than you, and almost none of my posts had been spam, where all but one of yours had been.

 

Also, just being alive isn't much of a contribution to the game when you don't play it, and you've been less than helpful before this weekend.

 

Wombat is annoying me right now, he has popped up and is accusing Anox and DPR, but he is providing absolutely nothing to back himself up, and isn't even trying to either. I can't tell if he's playing the game or just attempting to mess us all up. Of course, if he's doing that, he's got about as much chance of success as a rock has of flying under its own power.

 

Anox I'm starting to feel tempted to lynch just because she's so nasty that I don't like playing the game with her. She's also very defensive and not making herself look any less suspicious to me.

 

Alys... Alys is playing how she ever does, and reads innocent to me, but I feel like she might just be playing us all.

 

Hybrid isn't around much at all, and he stated after the call-your-shot game that he tends to be quieter when he's scum. I hate meta-gaming, but he's not around enough in the game for me to get a read on his actual contributions.

 

Where is Verbal?

 

Quibby seems very helpful, weird fetish for me aside. I'm leaning towards innocent or masterfully pulling the wool over our eyes.

 

Lav I believe, I think she is definitely who she says she is.

 

Aemon I'm very suspicious of, during his PR he specifically incriminated Crusher, who turned out to be innocent, and I'm wondering why he voted Crusher.

 

Pookie has been helpful as well, and leans innocent.

 

Dragonsworn hasn't been doing much or playing much this game. I'm also wondering why he has a pact to help another player live to end-game every game, and who that person is.

 

Danya, as everyone else has said, is Danya. She isn't doing anything that Danya wouldn't normally do. No read on her at all.

First off, sorry for the inactivity.  Had a busy weekend and was too tired to play.  But now I've got an entire week of not much to do, so I'll be catching up.

 

While I'm doing so, I just wanted to point out that:

 

DPR, . . . I think it's conceivable that our Finder would have checked you out relatively early, and since I've heard no screams of, "Let's lynch us a pirate, arr!", well...

 

It's only Day 4.  At most (unless there is a role doubler), the Finder could have checked 3 people.  Assuming he has been found innocent is a dangerous basis for trust, even if he has been in the spotlight the entire game.

Hybrid, the assumption is based on the rest of the statement, which is oddly absent from that post.  I'm not trusting him as much as I'm giving my reason for not voting for him at this time.  In fact, I didn't say anything that even sounded like, "I trust you," in the rest of the post.  Noting a belief that a person is not guilty is not the same as trusting the person.

 

All that being said, I don't see why you would only put that statement in the quote, instead of the whole thing:

MCS I think is just trying to shift suspicion onto other people.  Whether that's scummy or not I'm pretty neutral on.  Barm, however, seems to strongly dislike how I am playing.  The reason I didn't give evidence for Anox and DPR is that it was already out there.  The reason I sounded so certain about them is because I enjoy hyperbole and I wanted to get a reaction.  Everyone except for Barm and Nae ignored my comment.  I don't think that means anything.  There are other people I think are scummy.  Aemon for instance.  I believe I've already stated my reasons for him.  Anyway, it seems there is surprisingly little evidence for us being at day 4.  I might have to reread again but I would prefer new material.

That you have not helped the town yet means that I am fully justified in saying that you are not helpful. And you have HAD nothing to offer the town. Being alive only means that you are an unactive dead weight that we cannot gauge one way or the other. It does us NO good.

Here, you talk about the PR then ask me questions. You answer nothing else I asked or spoke about.

 

Top half of the post was addressed at you, aemon. What was verb supposed to know? Why so high strung? Some of it is inconclusive, but worth noting, such as the interactions with Thorum (known mafia).

 

aemon, what makes you think players are using relics they don't know the effects of? there has been witness evidence that they should have a clue such as quibs assertion he picked up a not pro town one.

aemon, were you going to explain about the dog and the homework you quoted with the vote count?

 

also, kill nae or something bad will happen day 3? she spent day 3 silenced. what was supposed to happen? why did she say it was stupid to kill her? did the silencer target her because of aemon?

This is one of several posts that Anox should go back and read. Because this was not mod provided, and certainly looks like collected info that I was working on all game. No where INDEED!

 

Alys I don't know why the little lie would be a big deal. I figured you were trying to fish out whoever stole the used relic because you had some kind of plan for it. Like the needing of the relics to fulfill a second win condition theory.

Did you ever tell me if the vial was still empty and informationless when you got it? I am assuming so since you stated only one “lie.”

 

dpr, you say we should use relics to find the vessel, why tell us to ignore relics? why ignore the 3 but talk about the 2?

Right now, all the inactives have either been subbed out, have started playing more, or have reached out to me via PM to let me know why their activity has been down.  Alanna and Hybrid are in the most danger, at the moment, but I'm trusting them to be active now.  If they aren't, they will be replaced, if possible.

 

Any modkills for inactivity will give alignment.

I think it's more of a ... you play such a meticulous game that you slide under suspicions every time.  Even in person.  I remember someone saying that you would just never come across as mafia because you were so calm and quiet and had the face of innocence.  No one ever really suspects you.

Alright, so I got the Elixir that Lavinya had - but then it was stolen from me. The important thing is that it did not say it was an empty bottle, so I'm getting more comfortable with her role. Healer - stay on her. Lavinya, what did it do? We can go back and figure out who stole it from me.

 

2) You MAY NOT post any information about a relic on the thread.  That means no claiming to have one, and it means no publication of any information you got via PM from me when you obtained your relics. You can speculate about whether other people have relics, but that's it.

 

I take it that we are allowed to post basic information about relics that were stolen from us (i.e. name but not abilities)?  So you can claim to have had Relic A at one point but then it was stolen without being modkilled.  Whereas if you claim to have Relic A now you will be modkilled.

 

Kivam, could you confirm?  (Or if this has already been answered, can someone point me in the right direction?)

 

On another note, still rereading the last days worth.  Will be back shortly with thoughts on each of the candidates for today.

I missed the last line.  Probably from reading too quickly in the morning.  And the quote modifying on my part didn't help - but I was just trying to point out the part where you said you thought the Finder would have already checked him.  Wasn't trying to throw suspicion on you, just trying to be helpful.

Second, apparently my second post got lost while I was playing around with tabs in Firefox.  But the gist of it was that I'm voting [glow=red,2,300]Anox[/glow] for all around scumminess today.  She pops up, votes for mcs without a good reason, gets extremely defensive (and abrasive), and proceeds to point fingers at everyone who voted for her.  Plus, the unvote on Alys felt an awful lot like someone had told her she was drawing too much heat, and she needed a reason to unvote Alys.

 

The rest talked about how I need to reread to review Alys and DPR.  DPR is all over the place, so I have no idea what to think.  Alys is helpful, so I'm leaning towards innocent, but I want to double check her posts to make sure there's no "helpful scum" vibe.
