The reason I ask about the vessel is this...If the vessel is town then I think that they don't know they are the vessel.  My reasoning behind this is, if I were the vessel and knew that as long as I lived that the mafia would have an out...I would find a way to get myself lynched.  As would any other town member right?

No point speculating in who the Vessel is, as far as I can tell from Kivs posts, only he knows it anyways. we cant base cases on someone being something they dont know they are.
