Sometimes really obvious things that you just know they wouldn't do and then they get away with it. Take nothing for granted right?

Plus earlier, night one, DPR posted saying you two had talked about the mafia's unknown win condition however I saw no such posts.

We had both posted something on it, but no one wants to talk about it… I really, really don’t remember where. And it may not have been the win conditions, but the relics themselves, I think.

 

For me, I wonder why you would trust anything DPR would tell you. What if he would have said it did bring me back to life? Could anyone really argue with that? Well I could but we have to tip toe things and stave off boogie men...

Not make me trust him. Make me feel more comfortable with him using the vial. Really with DPR, you have to look at how he says what he says as much as actually what he says. From previous experience, he is gooooood at saying things that get him lynched. I remember his first games. :D Killed early quite a few times.

 

Yes, evil could bring you back just as easily as town. It’s why I chance the pro town vial question. If I give you something where you blatantly have to lie… Catch my point here?

 

Now last one, I'm assuming he has something to hide. You were really vague when you started questioning him and he took a little while to catch on and went reading all over to find what you were talking about. Plus how would he know he could trust you? As it is I am inclined to think DPR isn't town aligned.

Here is my candid reasoning, flawed though some may find it.

 

How could he know he could trust me? He couldn’t. The questions were not about trusting me. He should have known what I asked very simply. The details were there. I tried to ask in such a way that the dirty laundry did not have to be aired. Did you do this? Was it pro-town?

 

That said, why answer me? Would mafia talk amongst themselves about these things on thread? Probably not, unless they could not outside communicate, a rare occurrence. Would mafia question something that could have been pro-mafia? Probably not.  The mafia is generally pretty shy about outing a possible sk of any type as well. These are all things that occurred to me. So why not go for broke and call him out? He knew someone would get a used vial, and is it not suspicious for that person to ignore that their newly stolen relic has been used? If he’s up to his usual standards, he KNEW yesterday that I had targeted him. He just didn’t have anything until you died.

 

I'm on sporadically today, but I'll check in later to see what Alys tries to do next. Heh

A. She could be either. Don’t you love the seeming PR that popped out from both of them? It was awesome and gave me the warm fuzzies… ::) For now, seeing as she pulled a mafia member, what choice do we have but to see where she leads us next? But this time, I’d like for her to do her own dirty work. She needs to explain, not ask others to do so.

 

B. If no one says anything, it is counterproductive. If people say what they are thinking or ask what other people think, we may get somewhere.  Being afraid to speak is the only problem we really face.

 

C. We’ve been talking and Kivy was quick to point out where he saw a line about to be crossed. I think the no talk is more of a suggestion on specifics of what they do. For instance, how many people said we need 3 to take out the mafia? Kivy did not call that one down, and it seemed pretty specific. Please note last sentence from B here as well.

 

Not to be mean, I know everyone has different stuff on their plates, but dually noted that that was a very noncommittal post.

Coming from an experienced Mafia player, that pretty much goes a long way towards discrediting anything I say.

 

What's with the genuflecting to experienced players (I was going to say relics, but I thought it might be rude.  So I put it in parentheses so it suddenly isn't rude.  See?  ;))in this game?  I've never seen its like before.

 

Now if they say something sensible:

Probably the best course of action here.  It's Day 2, so we have a little lee way.  It's not like we're at lynch-and-lose here.

1) Lavinya is the Finder and Thorum is mafia.  Lynch Thorum.  Scum down.  Yay.

2) Lavinya is mafia and Thorum is town.  Lynch Thorum.  Thorum flips town.  Lynch Lavinya.  Scum down.  Yay.

3) Lavinya is mafia and Thorum is mafia.  Lynch Thorum.  Scum down.  Yay. 

Then hooray experience!

If I truly were mafia, there is no way you would have made a post like that and implicated me along with you, you'd be busy trying to save me. You told me it would work too well? If I didn't want you lynched, all I had to do was stay silent on my findings. Very cool indeed, scummy scum scum! But a pathetic last attempt to take me down with you.

 

Now, healer/guardian/whatever...I really hope you're looking after me tonight, because I'm pretty sure the cultists will want me out of the way in case I get lucky and find another one of them tonight :P

Jeran I was surprised people where still trying to lynch him.  I wasn't softening anything up.  I don't even think Lavinya revealed yet and if she did it was early and not really all that believable.  I was still trying to find out why he was being lynched.  Maybe you believe somebody the second they claim, I don't.  Sorry to confuse.

Thorum, a cthulhu cultist (mafia) is dead.  Night has fallen.

 

We can be 99% sure there's a baddie with a NK, but whether they have recruiting powers is still unknown.  "Cthulhu cultist" could just be the name for the mafia.

I can't be too excited at finding we've lynched a Mafia, the Vessel is still out there. Even if we find them all and lynch them all we could still lose :/
