I'm not sure anyone is standing out that stronging as scummy so far but I think I'm gonna place my vote on [glow=red,2,300]Thorum[/glow] based on his Panda interaction.  Just a general feeling and weak at that admittidly.

Okay, here's what I'm thinking about Nae at this point, especially after her last post. She's drawing so much attention to herself, it's unreal. Who would do that? Maybe a jester? I hope the finder views her tonight, but either way, I'm not taking any chances, and I'm changing my vote. I'm fairly sure that whatever she is, it's not likely to be mafia.

At this point, all I know is that I want a lynch, because no lynch is usually bad for the town. Unless someone jumps out at me, I'll go with the crowd, if the group ever decides on one person. Of course, this is subject to change, if something strikes me as scummy or worth exploring.

Ok, we are close to a deadline and Nae unvotes.  This is perhaps the scummiest move of the game.

Urgh, went back for a reread of the thread now that I have the time (pulling an all-nighter to correct my sleep cycle).

 

Well, I came out of this reread with much the same opinion as before--I don't have a solid reason to believe anyone is mafia.  I know there are villains here, I'm just not positive on who they are yet.

 

So, no solid reasons, but I have a HUGE hunch.  Like, a gut feeling combined with the overall effect of this person's posts.

 

I really think [glow=red,2,300]LZM[/glow] is mafia at this point.  He's not been super-scummy or anything, but his general posting style so far in this game has been "I'm trying to look like I'm thinking this through."  At least that's the vibes I get from it.  Why not actually think it through?

 

To be honest, though, the biggest red flag for me was LZM's post about me being "a mafia squirrel sympie."  Not "Meesh is a mafia squirrel." 

On Day 1, I wouldn't start calling people symps right off the bat; I'd first assume they're mafia and then consider the possibility of a symp if their behavior seemed more fitting of a symp.

I think it's a freudian slip.  I think LZM knows I'm not mafia, and that came through in his post, unintentionally perhaps.  Even when treated entirely as a joke, not looking at the words themselves, the tone was, "haha I'm just messing with you, I don't mean what I say."  Too airy for a mafia game, when people have finally started to get down to business. We were already past the Day 1 random phase.

 

*shrugs*  I know it's not much, and it's really just a hunch, but it's the best I have to go on at this point--I believe Pandy is telling the truth, to be honest, and Nae hasn't really pinged my radar much (I don't play with her much, so I don't have any sort of file for her gameplay style in my head).  Thorum always seems scummy; and I hesitate to vote for him just because of his back and forth with Pandy.  Not enough there.

 

Anyway, that's just my opinion from what I've seen of the people who have been posting so far.

This quote Lily, i thought that LZM had alway been killed early on so is why i never paid too much attention to his posts, but since you pointed out he has lasted a whole game it got me thinking.

 

Theres little too go right now but i'm leaning towards either Meesh or LZM or both and since LZM has the most votes out of the two i'm voting him.

Pale, I see your point. In that other game I thought for sure he was mafia, right up until it was time to view him, but he wasn't. I'm getting the same vibe here. But I might switch my vote before the deadline. I'll think it over. It's Day One. No matter how hard we try, we aren't likely to get a villain. That would be nice, of course.

 

The only vibes I'm getting is why NOT to vote for this person or that person. I honestly have no clear idea why TO vote for anyone. I guess I'm not alone in this, but it sure is frustrating. I'm still new enough to mafia to be frustrated by it. After Day One it gets better, I know.

I think Nae is the most scummiest out of the players. Her constant voting and unvoting keeps pinging my radar and it makes me think she is mafia trying to toy with us.

 

I still want to play this game but I will not be to terribly active, my grandmother just passed away and I kind of don't want to do anything rite now, but school calls and I have another paper due, I might not due it, I just don't have it in me, I drove as fast as I could to be by her side but she passed away before I got to the hospital, I was her favorite grandson and I felt like I let her down.  :'( .
