People who have "agreements to keep friends alive until endgame"

 

Sorry, guys, but that's really annoying for other players, and can screw your team.  Play the game, and if it means voting a friend off, do it.

 

I mean, it's one thing to say "I won't kill you night 1 if I'm scum/vote you day 1" - its a whole other thing to say "lets keep each other around until endgame if we can"

Yeah, I forget who, but someone in Kiv's game said they had an agreement to not target their little buddy to try to get each other to end game. BAD BAD BAD!  >:(

 

When my warders play they are usually the first one's I go after. :P  We know each other too well and can tell when the other is lying so it's best to take each other out sooner.  On the other hand, one of my souvras was finder and I was mafia and he viewed me night one and then sat on it.  I thought the rest of the innocents were gonna slay him for real when they found out. By all means, save your friend for later in the game to view/kill/ect but don't view them and then hide the info when you know they are scum. It's not fair to your team to play favorites with your friends.  Leave the bonds/family/etc outside of the game.

Just making sure, Kivs. Want it fully understood where I stand, cause I would view the players that are most crafty and devious first, if I were ever finder. Would want them to be a known quantity.

I think that just comes down to how you play your different roles. I usually have a set-up if I get healer roles, and they usually work. Of course, it does depend on how much metagaming is going on. Something that will keep annoying me in every single game I'm ever gonna play on these boards.

That is exactly what I do as well.  Then I just choose who seems the most suspicious.....never even think for a sec about picking friends first.  If anything, they are the ones who can manipulate you the easiest.
