As for the whole voting number 8 thing, that was a tradition of Loki's made popular by me back in the day, and since so many people buy into it now I refuse to vote for 8 based on the tradition anymore, since I've seen people die in the 8th spot for no other reason than the tradition, and its a terrible reason to lynch people.

 

And yet, when we DIDN'T vote for loki, he was generally evil, if I remember correctly.

and who looks more suspicious between dragonsworn and Kivam?  Kivam is very quiet right now, even though its a holiday, he has been more active in another game.  Usually an active Kivam means mafia so....he's not likely mafia here.

 

...but do I go with the mafia tradition of lynching dragonsworn on day one?  You betcha!

Remember the last time Mynd went after me, I was innocent, and he was cult. I thought he was scummish and I was rite  :) . Yet being rite ended up with me being nightkilled. I know alignments are totally random, and are someone is hardly ever mafia for two to three games in a row, but that doesn't mean it can't be possible. Mynd at least save your crusade against me until day two.  ;)

However as the old JLM logic that i used to subscribe to was disproved i have to work on something. Still im liking the amount of activity about, despite peoples being busy. Getting a lot of information on Day 1 is definately useful.

Either you've never played with Kivam before, or you already know he's innocent and are buddying up to him.  Or you know he's mafia, because you are as well.

Alright, I'll start off this post with an [glow=red,2,300]unvote[/glow]

 

Mynd and gypsy seem to both be metagaming.  While this is not a healthy way to play the game, it does not spell out scum. 

 

My vote, if any, depends on events forthcoming.  As of yet, I see nothing that gives me any reason to vote.  I understand that it is Day 1, and that information is scarce, but the more post are made the more information becomes available (little as it is)

Well I'm here now. Seems some interesting things going on.

 

Metagaming may not be the best way to reason out your voting, but to some extent we all doing, based on how that person has played in the past. So it's easy to say no metagaming, but it will be there. To base your vote soley on something like that isn't so good.

 

Who I feel maybe scummish at present:

 

Dsage, that post of yours, while quite humourous, just stood out as trying a little too hard to lighten the game.

 

Mynd, you always seem suspicious to me, but there have been no ranting posts from you...are you feeling well ;)

 

Barm seems a little too quick to act in self defence and seems a little uptight..hmmm. So could be mafia.

 

Okay thats it for now. Not going to vote yet, want to watch some more!

Have to agree with you there, Talya. I really dislike the metagaming that goes on Day 1, but we can't avoid it unless the lovely mod happened to give us a daytime Finder.

[glow=red,2,300]vote Barm[/glow] - barm is metagaming when he says metagaming is bad.  Just because it hasn't worked in the past doesn't mean it won't work in the present.  Therefore, he's contradicting himself, which is a short step from a lying liar who lies, and therefore GUILTY!  *nods nods*

 

OK, seriously, though, for the moment I'm torn between Mynd (for the reason Verbal voted for him - I'm active when I'm innocent or when I'm scum, and that read like buddying up to me) and (seriously) Barm.  First, because I owe him for nearly wrecking a game of mine  :P  But, more importantly, because that DSage interaction seems off - could just be DSage being silly, but it could also mean that he overreacted to a single post and decided to defend a teammate, then looked to play it off as silly.  Combine that with Barm playing more uptight than usual (I agree with Talya on that), and Barm becomes my weak-sauce suspect number 2 for day 1.  Since Mynd's already facing pressure, I'm going to leave my vote where it is for the nonce.  (I love the word nonce.  Should use it more often)
