Might not reply for a while, mind... shouldn't be posting at all... *Watches the MBs go up and up...*

I am stuck. I want to do something to do with graphics... Not sure what, yet. But I don't know which courses to choose at college. Have to do three, though I can do four.

I'm definitely taking graphics. I've put psychology down, but I don't particularly want to do it, having done a GCSE in it... it's so frigging boring.

Now, here are my other choices:

A few notes -

Mum says I won't be good enough for art

I've hated English Literature and English language at GCSE level, I don't know if it's any different but I'm not sure whether to risk it. I did used to enjoy writing, but now I don't.

I know no French at all.

Drama and theatre.... I have little confidence.

Photography is there, as a part-time course, though I thought it was full-time before...

So, any ideas what I should do?

If you want to do something with graphics, then I definitely recommend doing the photography one. The two go hand in hand.

And what the hell does your mother get off saying that you wouldn't do well in fine arts? Nobody does well in fine arts at first. Hell, even I struggled through it. That is the point of the class. It isn't meant for experts or those born with rare talent. It is for those who wish to learn. I promise you, I couldn't draw a straight line when I took it, but now I've got mad skills. And if you are pursuing art (which includes graphics)---the more art classes the better. They will inspire you graphically, I promise.

She might just not want me to do art because she knows how much I hated GCSE art... But I doubt it. I'm not really good at art... not compared to other people who did it with me, anyway. 'Course, I'm ok at it, but not brilliant, and I don't really have the patience or talent to ever be that good. I think I might do it anyway, though it might mean I'll get yelled at more :/ My dad doesn't like me being able to make my own choices :P He acts like a tyrant nowadays. You are right, though, I probably should.

Law sounds really boring >.>

Turns out the photography course is definitely part time, and some classes are in the evenings, so I'm not doing it. I won't have education cutting into any more of my spare time.

I did consider maths, however, I'm only doing the foundation paper for GCSE rather than higher, so I'd need to learn a LOT of the stuff I'd probably need to already know :/

Someone told me the applied science is probably not really much to do with science. What sort of things do you learn from it?

The description you posted looks pretty dull, actually. It tries to incorporate biology, chemistry, physics, social science, and economic science into one course. That's just crazy. Take a physics course, instead. :P

It's weird, but I have started to enjoy maths >.>

As for law.... do you know it's illegal for us to fly the union jack, apparantly it's racist. You are no longer allowed to take videos of school plays your children are in. You can be sued/put on the sex offenders list for hugging a child that is not yours. At least, here. I refuse to learn any more, lest I get more angry about what the world's coming to :P

And I can't do physics, unfortunately, unless I get a B which is highly unlikely. They won't let me do any of the sciences (apart from the one I posted) with a C. I'd probably be doing better, had they not decided do try and "make learning fun". *Glares at our goverment*

(Making learning 'fun' generally means treating us like five year olds, which everyone seems to enjoy for some reason.......)

Ahahahahahahaha... We waste 5 minutes at the start of each lesson because the teachers have to tell us; why we're learning what we're learning today, how we're going to learn it and exactly what we're going to learn... ::)

Take maths. You enjoy it and it's such a crucial subject. :)

I like math, really. But in all seriousness, then professor makes or breaks the course. So you won't know if you like it until you get there. For example, I am taking aerospace engineering at a university in Ottawa. I took a Greek history course as an elective and it was my favorite course so far (I'm in third year this year). I an interested in the stuff taught in my other classes but most of the time I don't even go because I'd just fall asleep. That's my two cents.
