Mn you probably should have revealed earlier, but to my mind what really won the game for the mafia was that Nae did not believe you. That gave me the cover not to vote for Wes on day two.

 

Nae, we were so sure you were a symp we killed you off on the last night because we did not want to share the victory with a live symp.

So here's the deal, when I came out on day one and threw a fit, my entire purpose ws to be investigated. Verbal gave me a close run for it, but I wanted to be found as mafia so that the finder would reveal. That way, Hybrid could work as the framer. So either way, MN, I was after you. It's worth keeping in mind for future games.

 

And, as soon as the finder called me out, I was going to counter-claim anyway - kinda sorry I never got to do that - but this worked much better.

 

And everything I said was absolutley true - play by the evidence and not the player and you will win much more of the time.

 

I felt a little bad for MN, but Pandy, Verbal and Peace kept the heat on so I didn't have a choice!

 

Great instincts from all of those players and Blig. And Peace, all of your points were well made. But you play similarly to Kivam (logically and you are a technician) and I've seen him work too many times to not know a few good counters. 

 

There were at least three posts where I sweated Nae spotting me and calling me out. You probably did and just had your solo win so you didn't care -

Good game, guys.  Sorry I was a bit inactive, I really was sick with a fever and I didn't want to post anything stupid.  :P

 

Luckily, DPR was doing such a good job pointing out flaws in other people's reasonings and CUBAREY started pointing out the idea of a gambit, so there was enough doubt that mn viewed Verbal the next night as we'd hoped.  ;D

 

I actually saw mn's first role hint to Verbal, but I wasn't about to speak up.  Heh.  Also, I agree that against some of the more dangerous players like DPR, you should definitely reveal immediately.  In this case, there just wasn't enough evidence against him so he wasn't going to get lynched without a reveal.  Since we were all suspicious of mn at first, and DPR was able to keep attacking his attackers, we managed to block that lynch from happening altogether.  Still, if I'd been innocent, I definitely would have been for supporting the lynch on DPR to test out mn's finder views.

DoH!!!  I thought something was suspicious when I viewed Verbal and got the exact same answer as when I viewed Wes - Stunt Double (mafia). I didn't know that the role would have played into it as well as the alignment.  Oh well, I'll learn for next time. I was almost going to view Nae, but I was a bit suspicious about someone defending me so much.  And, for sure next time, if I find mafia, I'll reveal right away. But, I thought I was supposed to stay hidden as much as possible.  Oh well.

And you are right DPR.. I didn't care enough if you were or not so long as you stayed away from DJ.  I have to admit I groaned when I saw that's who I had to keep alive...Dj has an uncanny ability of getting himself killed early.

Well, I got thoroughly outplayed by Wes in that one.  :-\  Hehehe....well done yet again.  I was almost sure that Wes, CUBA, and Nae were the 3 mafia.  2 out of 3 ain't bad.  Hybrid - I had no clue....nice job hiding.  If we could have at least hammered Wes that day, then (if Nae had been the hammer) I would have gone after CUBA, as his reluctance to prove a Finder was obviously mafia.  Not sure if we would have found Hybrid....I actually thought he was the psycho and I tried to cure him my last night.  Didn't see Liath coming, lol.

 

Awesome game Leelou!!!  I had a blast!
