The Gist:  Everyone is a cop, but some cops are dirty.  The Dirty Cops have been paid off by the Mafia and act as the Mafia in this game.

 

RULES

 

TIMELINE

 

This game will be following the standard Day/Night scenario.  Each Day will last 96 Hours (4 Real Life days) and each Night will last 48 Hours (2 Real Life days).  Day will be the time of analysis and voting, Night will be the time of using the Abilities of your Role.

 

SIGN-UP

 

First come, first serve.  No saving spots.  If you're not sure whether you'll be able to play, don't sign up until you are sure.  I will not accept Newbs unless it becomes necessary to fill up the slots.

 

ABSENCE

 

I have a three(3) day limit to how much time may pass with a Player not posting.  If a Player does not post within the time limit (72 Hours) that Player will be declared Missing In Action and Modkilled.  The only exception to this rule will be a PM to me explaining the absence.  And even with that warning, a Player still needs to post within five(5) days or they will be Modkilled.  A good rule of thumb, try to show up at least once a day, even briefly.

 

MODKILL

 

A Modkill can be the result of many things:  Unsportsmanlike conduct, vulgarity, Missing In Action, intentional disregard for the rules stated here and those concerning the Players role, ect, ect.  Let's be honest, I'm not going to kill anyone off for not glowing their vote the right color.  But I will kill you off for being MIA.

 

If a player is Modkilled, their alignment status will not be revealed.

 

VOTING

 

Everyone hast two(2) votes:  One for the regular Lynching Ballot, one for the new Finding Ballot (more on this later).  You CANNOT trade one vote from the Finding Ballot to give yourself two votes for the Lynching Ballot, or vice verse. 

 

Votes for the Lynching Ballot MUST be in [glow=red,2,300]red glow[/glow].  Votes for the Finding Ballot MUST be in [glow=green,2,300]green glow[/glow].  Bolding, or coloring will NOT be counted.  If you do not know how to glow, ask.

 

The Finding Ballot

 

The Finding Ballot allows you to vote every Day (excluding Day 1) who can reveal their Findings for the Day.  However, Players must nominate themselves before a vote can be cast for them.  No Player may be nominated by another Player.  Being the one nominating themselves, the Player should be ready to reveal their Findings, real or imagined.  A Player may remove his name from the Finding Ballot at any time PRIOR to a vote being placed.

 

The Lynching Ballot works the same as always, for the most part.  Any Player may nominate any Player (including themselves).

 

The MAXIMUM amount of votes for one Player (one either Ballot) is equal to the majority needed to Lynch someone (i.e. 51% of the number of players).  For example, if it takes 5 players to lynch, then 5 is the Maximum amount of votes allowed for one player.  After the MAX vote number has been reached on a Player, no more votes will be accepted for that Player.

 

In the end, the Player with the majority of the votes will be chosen for the consequences (depending on which Ballot).  In the event of a tie, the Player will be chosen randomly from those who tied.

 

If, by the end of the Day a majority has not been reached on the Lynching Ballot, the Day will end with no death.  If the same happens to the Finding Ballot, no Findings will be revealed.

 

You, as the Players, want to get the Finding Ballot done well before the deadline.  If the Player who 'wins' on the Finding Ballot does not post his/her Finding results (real or imagined) by the end of the Day, they will lose their chance to reveal and will need to start fresh the following Day - meaning volunteering themselves for the Ballot and going through the entire process again.
