My guesses are Birgitte, Elaida and Bashere. Bashere has something dark in his future, Elaida is without supporters (but with lots of enemies) and Birgitte is supposed to be younger than Gaidal Cain.

If Cadsuane dies I will be almost as gutted as if someone like Lan dies. Believe it or not I think after the main battle is done Nynaeve will say something to Lan hinting about Malkiers return. Something like "Now that the Blights clear of Shadowspawn I would like a closer look at those seven towers."

 

I'd like it if Alanna died, while Rand is still bonded to her, just to see how it would affect Rand, seeing as he has more stuff going on that anyone else. Bonded to four women, already half-mad, two never-healing wounds infected by evil (which are still active by the way, p677 Winters Heart for confirmation) and also linked to a True Power user in a way we dont understand...And it would be even better if Moridin killed her. I need Moridin to kill people of the Light in AMoL! I need to see the True Power used in battle!

 

I dont think Bashere will die. Min had a viewing, and all she said to Rand is "if he turns against you, or dies..." I take that to mean that if Bashere isnt available to Rand, then Rand will be in trouble. Turning against him? I dont think that means he will turn to the Shadow, I simply think Bashere will maybe later leave Rand because he disagrees with something Rand is about to do. You know, the sort of "if you do it, I'll oppose you," sort of thing.

I think Dobraine is a goner...and some of the Aiel clan chiefs..not Rhuarc or Bael...but I wouldn't be surprised if one or both of them bit the dust as well

I will start by saying that I hope that a whole lot of them die.  Its not that I have anything against them of that I'm a fan of death and destruction, its just that TG is supposed to be an apocalyptic war and therefore no less than 2/3 of the human population should be wiped out.  Anything less would be anticlimactic.  And I won't accept that the 2/3 that die just happen to be the 2/3 we haven't met.

 

Anyway, from this list I picked

 

1. Birgitte because she's about the only woman for who RJ has not for-shadowed a love interest.  Every other woman in this series seems destined to live happily ever after with some man, but not Birgitte.

 

2. Tenobia because Perrin has the broken crown in his future and I just don't see any other way for Perrin and Faile to end up in charge of Saldea without her dying. 

 

3. Sheriam I don't know why, just got a feeling.

 

Those are my three votes but I've also got a bad feeling about Bashere because it seem's like he'd be in line for the Broken Crown before Faile and Perrin, so again he might have to die for Min's viewing about Perrin and the broken crown to come true.

 

I don't think Elaida will die, I just think she will end up living out the rest of her days in utter humiliation.

Good point, but the problem is that Birgitte currently has the body of person in their early to mid twenties while Cain is currently a toddler.  So eeeeewwwwwwww!

But thats probably the way it was the other way round, and nobody thought anything was wrong with it. This time, she gets a younger man, and he gets an experienced older woman. Go on Gaidal!

-Gawyn; because of one of Egwene's dreams (Crown of Swords Chapter 10), though it would need to happen after she bonds him (another dream).  The path dream is the one I refer to.

-Bashere; because of one of Min's viewings (Crossroads of Twilight Chapter 24).

-Other, had Taim in mind; dream of Logain laughing (same chapter as Gawyn's paths).

I would hardly call some of these people minor characters. 

 

Birgitte, Leane, Siuan, Elaida...even Cadsuane are characters that RJ has developed and attached us to. 

 

I'm not sure who will die, but I wonder if someone will figure out a way to put Birgitte back in the cycle of the Horn that she was in.  Being ripped out by Moghedien, I wonder if the Forsaken has any knowledge of how to undo something like that.

i think she'll be put back in automatically when she dies, yhis was just a faster and more forceful way of being reborn.
