also, it's not too late for me to switch to a set up where we have all sorts of cops who don't die on day kills but do die on night kills.

also, for reading to see how it goes, here is the game that i am using for a set-up. beware, some one dies the first night. we start on night.

The results are out. It is now morning.

 

As you emerge from your humble homes, you discover Moggy strapped to a homemade guillotine with her head held in her lifeless hands.

 

Night falls sometime on Friday night or Saturday morning. Central Time.

Tempting, but I am gonna hold off until I see what everyone else thinks.....don't know what kind of cop I m yet.

Wouldn't it work better if we just all say who we investigated and what we found? We may be able to eliminate someone (knowing the layout of the cops).

One of the ways to do this is by osting all of our results. Except, tht brings a lot of focus on to the results themselves, which is a big distraction in a 3 day game. Technically, there is just not enough time to reason through your own role, much less anyone elses. So, one argument says that we should just forget any finder results and play by instinct based on the content of posts.

 

The one way you can learn something from your role is to find yourself, the only player you can trust. Of course, you would have had to start last night to get two nights in.

 

I didn't say this yesterday becasue I would have made a great target to be nightkilled, and I did want to play one day. If I get offed tonight, you'll at least have everything that we turn over today and a better chance of a mafia lynch tomorrow.

Alys isted it as 1 regular (accurate findings), 1 paranoid (everybody is always guilty), 1 naive (everybody is always innocent), & 2 crazy (random results)

 

Which means that Thorum could be the regular, the paranoid, or one of the crazies.

 

Moggy is dead, so there are only four finders left. Thor did not get innocent, so he can't be naive.

 

We can analyze this all day long, but let's use it to out the mafia instead of letting them hide behind it.

 

I viewed myself and got innocent. So I could be a regular, a naive, or a crazy.

I thought of findering myself but only after I sent in my action (doh)  I viewed Mynd and got innocent.  So either regular, naive or crazy, hmm.

I finded up JLM (relax ref, its a mafia term) and got guilty.  So that makes me either regular, paranoid, of crazy. 

 

So, let's look at this:

 

JLM - regular, naive, crazy, or lying mafia

Mynd - regular, paranoid, crazy, or lying mafia

DPR - regular, naive, crazy, or lying mafia

Moggy - DEAD!

Thorum - regular, paranoid, crazy, or lying mafia

Danya - dunno

 

JLM felt out Mynd and got Innocent.  (this is true, BTW)

Mynd felt out JLM and got Guilty. 

DPR felt out DPR and got Innocent.

Thor felt out Danya and got Guilty.

Moggy felt the blade of the guillotine.

Danya felt out_______ and got ________.

 

Perhaps we all should feel out someone who got the opposite read of our last feel, for instance JLM came back guilty, so if I feel out myself and get innocent, then I know I am regular.  If I get guilty, then I am paranoid or crazy.  Make sense?

So, if I was crazy, I could read the same person twice and get different results, right? Course, that would be crazy to do in a 6...now 5 person mafia game. (We'll miss you, Moggy). 

 

But here is the thing, if I read Danya and come up with guilty as well, I could be either paranoid, crazy, or regular. Right?
