Well I'm hesitant because the infamous Sirayn is in this game... and that scares the crap out of me... but sign me up.

Nae, Sirayn being in the game is the best reason TO join (aside from the wonderful and vivacious Alys [can i have a cool role if i flatter you enough - you're also super smart]).  Everyone should watch that girl in action once.  If you want to learn how mafia's played, join this game.  ;D

It's nice to be famous for my wins rather than my frequent spectacular losses. Like that one game where I blew it for the evil team in my first post and Kivam crunched up my team like a delicious breakfast snack. Or that other game where Kivam played me like a fiddle from day one to set up his evil endgame, which I duly fell for. (I'm seeing a theme here. :D)

Great to have you back :D

Thanks! It's been a while, so I hope nobody laughs too much when I get hammered. (Also I hope this game doesn't require any knowledge of the American Civil War. Like, at all. I know even less about the American Civil War than Americans do about the English Civil War.) :P

The English never had a civil war (unless you mean their tendency to stop all battles at 3pm for tea and crumpets).  As far as I understand the term, Civil Wars are essentially wars of secession rather than wars of succession.  Neither Cromwell nor the Roses involved an attempt to break off a chunk of Britain on its own; they were fights over governance of England as a whole.  Not sure that qualifies  :P

In my book, it's more a like a war where brothers and sisters are fighting at different sides. Like in Ireland, like in the Roses, like in the American Civil War, like with Franco, ... A bit more down-to-earth than the "higher reason" of secession or succession.
