Ok with less than 10 minutes left, we have the choice of letting loki kill either vemy or daet OR we shift a few votes and at least get to choose who goes.  OR loki could knock both of em off, never can tell.  I think we need to maintain at least some control, even if its not a full lynch.  So, [glow=red,2,300]Dae[/glow].  Which kinda stinks.

“So.. Who should we eat first?”  asked Luthine, “What?

“We have food to last us six months… if we last that long”

“Oh yeh ..but well I was thinking ..why let all that nice fresh meat go to waste”

“The girl has a point”  speaks up Jenlenamum “full of proteins and nutrients and things!”

“Why only one, lets go for two.. Or even three! Mmm” chimes in Thorum

“But..” Talya is cut off by a terrible scream “what in the nine worlds was that?!”

 

As you all run to the source of the terrible wailing, a curious smell, kind of like bacon cooking, assaults your noses. As you come into the harbour, your eyes lock upon ..well something you really don’t want to register ..unfortunately you do.  Aly Kinch is lashed to the mast of the Naglfar.

“Hi guys, Ms Alys here said shed like to play a different game “

Your eyes swivel to the welding torch in loki’s hand. Some faint as he pulls down the welding mask and proceeds to melt Alys, piece by piece, and somehow you can hear him humming ‘baby can you light my fire’ over the frantic screeches of Alys’s last moments. Afterwards loki reclines on a deck chair, wearing a trilby tipped at a jaunty angle

 

“I’m suddenly not feeling so hungry after all .. Lets just lynch them here and go” says Luthine, sporting a very fetching shade of green

 

And so after your day of deliberation, the thought of getting rid of the evil crystallises in your minds. But still in the end you cant seem to decide between Vemynal, and Daetririon. Both? A random choice

Before you can choose which, Daetirion  shouts,

“AHHHHHHHH! I can’t stand it any longer”

Daetirion  plunges his hand into a nearby rock pool and pulls out starfish, stuffing them into his face, nose, ears , eyes. Some even make it in his mouth. Eventually he suffocates and you all disperse to sleep next to a warm fire… its got really nippy all of a sudden.

MAybe not. Dae is an INNOCNET, not an innocent. It probably doesn't mean a thing, but...

 

ANyway: alys modkilled & mmeesh replaced. Does this make jelly (ex-mmeesh) a likely mafia?

 

Second thought: jen. It was 4-4 in votes between vemy & dae, with 1 of the vemy-votes coming from jen, and only 10 min left. And she switches to dae ???

Well, I should have just let loi flip another coin for who to knock off?  at that point it was a tie, I think you're right we probably want to keep vemy longer, and I said all that.  This may be my first game but I can read, and I read some of the other threads before deciding to try this.  I know vemy is a player who can be useful, hence the reason I agreed with you.  At least I voted, of the players left who were still in the game at the time of the vote at least one didn't vote.  and some others didn't seem to re-appear before the deadline. and I'm not the only one who changed my vote at the last minute.  Blig did also, at that point there was no reason for him to, b/c we had a majority on one person.  I guess we'll just all have to see what happens since you're not gonna take my word for it.

i only had once replacee . the person being replaced was choosen by flip of a coin.

 

Just suppose you had to modkill 2 people, and only 1 replacement. also suppose one of those to-be-modkilled people was mafia, the other innocent. Which would you replace?

The choosing of which was replased was random. it just so hasppened that alys was roleless. the next person might not be. 2 mafia is more than enough to win with and hence a decicion to keep a third would not be a factor. also if it wasnt random, people would say things like what you said. the coin was a 20 pence piece from 1983. anything else?

Too much to hope we would get a Mafia day 1 but we did get our fair share of weird behaviour, notably:

It's hard to get a mafia on day 1.  That's why I held back on voting, and besides - I knew that either Dae or Vemy would get lynched, and I couldn't decide between the 2.

well...i'll just lay off of you because i ALWAYS have this feeling about you...i don't know why. i'll just watch you closely instead of pushing a vote on you. i think that my instincts of you being evil is wrong this time...but you never know.  :-\

 

I'm going back to look and see if i can find anything on anyone...
