How much of your day is devoted to WoT?

I probably spend about 2 hours a day on the boards here, almost exclusively while at work 8).

 

On top of that, I'm usually re-reading one of the books, and spend 1-2 hours a day on that.

 

So, I'd say on any given day, 3 or 4 hours of it are given over to RJ's world.

honestly, i don't do so much with the series anymore.  i still like the books of course, but i've re-read them so many times at this point, that the only time i was really pulling them out was in prep. for a new release.  given everything, i have no idea when the next time i'll take these off the shelf will be.  i just don't have the energy to read those 11 books and then not have an ending.  when and if the final volume gets released, that'll be time enough to go back and bone up.

 

i'm on here most of the day at work, even if i don't post as much as i used to.  dedicated time?  maybe an hour or so, but i'm usually logged in.

Well. I go to school at 8 in the morning. The internet comes on at 8, so I don't get to go in the mornings. I can't go on at school; I think they block forums. I get home at 3.20-3.30 in the afternoon. Unless I have homework, and apart from the odd 20 mins or so Reading The Sword Of Truth books, I spend all my time on here until 9.00/10.00. Yes, I do things inbetween as well, but an awful lot of my time is spent on here. I've finished the WoT books, but when I was reading them, I spent all day reading them, as much as I could, anyway.

Well, according to my husband I spend entirely too much time here. *grin* Depends on the day and if I have a chance to come here or not. When I do I am here for 3 or so hours reading and posting. I am also re-reading the series and at least an hour a day goes to that.

I was pretty much obsessive for about 4 years until the last year. I know I have other things in my life that needs my attention and education is one of them.

 

The cycle has been broken.. *lol*

I'm thinking about WoT every second of every day. I live and breath the WoT. I re-read the series once a year, spending about 3 hours a day reading everyday until the series is done. And I'm on here about... 2 hours a day.

and I dont really think about WoT alot.. but I do read it more than others i'd say.. and I spend quite a bit of time on here even if i'm not posting anything.

I think about the books alot, I guess, plus I'm on here daily, if not for long at a time, and I play a WoT-inspired Internet game (Game of Stones), plus I play another, non-WoT-related game that I was introduced to by other Game of Stones players, and I found that many of the players in the unrelated game read and love Wot, so I talk with them about it some, and of course, the clan I'm in is full of WoT fans, plus I role play on a site or two, one as an Aes Sedai (just got raised to Amyrlin, which is cool, but we hardly RP anymore, which is sad, since I'm Amyrlin now  :P), and one as a novice (real active site), so I guess that in one way or another, I spend most of my day engaged in something that is at least not far-removed from WoT.

Frankly an embarrassing amount of time. If I have a day off from housework, etc, I'll spend an hour or two here and the rest rereading the books again for, well actually I don't know how many times I've reread it, I lost count. :D

I spend about 6 hours combined throughout my whole day. But I do have a few responsiblities at separate Orgs. So... I am chained.

I have re-read WOT so much that as a writer i find my self having to rewrite some things becuase its to much like RJ's work. I spend about 1-2 hours a day here.
