Hi there.  Most people online know me as Mouse.  Its because of my screen name (Mighty Mouse instead of Might One) ;D  I use this screen name because I always thought it would always be unlikely that a Hero (AKA a Mighty One) would be late, because if he was then he wouldn't be so mighty huh.  Yeah I know, kinda corny.  I have been reading WoT for several years now, after being turned on to it by my sister.  I have read it several times and am reading it again.  I also must confess that I write way to fast for my brain to follow so sometimes I either forget a letter or even a word.  I do apologize in advance for that.  Also I do use Firefox most of the time, so usually I have spelled everything correctly, just maybe not the correct word to be used in that situation.

 

I found this site when I heard that Robert Jordan was Ill.  I was very sad to find out that he had actually passed away.  I would like to express my well wishes to all of his family and friends during this difficult time.  He was a great man with a great talent for writing. 

 

 

A little about me:

I write some, but not very often.  I think that it takes a really good person to write a book, and since I seem to only ever write about 5 chapters and kind of move on to another idea, I don't think I have that great of skill :)  I build and work on web-pages at times, but since I can't draw and am not very good with graphics, I don't have the greatest of web-pages right now.  I don't mind helping people with their pages though.  I read a lot, probably more than I should since I usually end up reading instead of doing my homework at times.  I have worked in construction, but I pretty much stick to the computer field now for my jobs.  My saying: "Give me a tech job or give me a good book!"  Anyways if you want to know, ask away.  I probably won't be very vocal on here since I hardly ever write much on forums, but I do like to read through anyways.

We sure are glad to have you around!  Have you browsed the site pretty well yet?  You will notice that there is a side for Role Playing and a Community side with all the Organizations in it.  Role Playing is the serious side of things, and the Orgs are where we like to play around, hang out, and just have a great time.

 

If you are looking around, be sure to stop by and check out the Wolfkin Organization.  We are a very fun-loving group and we would be glad to have a visitor!  Stop in and post a thread saying hello, you wont be dissapointed with our Wolfie hospitality, that's for sure! :D

hehe dont worry to much about the randon mising words and stuff, i do that all the time type to fast and then click post  before i know what im doing so your among ..er well lest call it companys, others can decide if im good or bad :P (also yeh reading over homework its like your my long lost half brother..the more talented and better looking one)

 

ill second the invatation to the wolfkin as well, tis a pretty cool place and if ever you want to be cured of you non vocalness, pop in to fiddlesticks and have some random spaming fun with us :D

You sound kinda like an Illuminator to me. They're the creative bunch of DM with the writing and stuff and some other stuff. You'll have to ask them for more info. :D

If you're interested in the Orgs, that is. My favourite places at DM are the Children of the Light (Comedy) and the Seanchan (for all your entertainment needs) so I highly recommend stopping by.

 

Anyway, always glad to see new members, so look around the different boards and say hello.

I would like to also invite you to the Wolfkin Org. We are DM's nature based org. We also have lots of crazy fun and a unique welcome that has to be experienced at least once in your life. There are other great orgs out there. Egwene wrote and posted a sticky here that explains the site and some of the things here. There is a place where we all fit and sometimes several places.

 

Since you are the creative type I would also recommend checking out the Illuminators.

Check out the White Tower Org, where you can choose to be an Aes Sedai or a Warder (gender is no issue :P).  We currently have two female Warders (I think).  Really, it's a great Org!  You should drop by and check it out.  Post a new thread introducing yourself.  Ask as many questions as you want, everyone will be delighted to answer what they can.

Thanks for all of the warm welcomes :)  Nice to see a welcoming community. I think I will check out the Wolfkin Org, as it sounds like a cool group to be around, but definitely going to have to check out all of the other Orgs as well.

The Wolfkin may be cool, but the Band of the Red Hand ORG is the coolest place here at DM! It's where all the great people hang out! We're DM's very own music and travel ORG, so pop on by to sing a song, whether it be Jak O' the Shadows or something else! If you do, some Battle Brew will be on your way! And if you sign up, apart from joining the greatest fighting machine in Randland, you'll be on the path to becoming a Blademaster, a Knight or an Assassin, depending on which Regiment you join! There is always so much going on at the Band, and something to suit everyone, whether it be just posting and making new friends, gambling, drinking Brew, being punished by the Redarms for breaking Band Law, fighting a fellow Bander in the Arena by playing our dice-based ORG Game, and much much more!

 

But whatever you do here at DM, sign up for the Band of the Red Hand ORG! 8)

Read the sticky posts at the org. There should be instructions on how to join. You will need to contact the org. leader to get put on the org. list. Then do an intro. thread. Some have sign-up threads for new members. They are all a little different.

:D you know the best thing about fiddlesticks, other than the spammy randomness, is that you dont have to do any of that silly joining bussiness, you can just post were ever you like..or even make an new thread and post in that 8)

 

oh and i forgot before but you should definatly check out the organised games board, if you have a game youd like to suggest playing there, or if you want to join in the bestest mafia games in the whole of DM (im not sure if we have any games waiting for people at the mo..but we should have soon enough :) )

Lmao, mighty! the ajah's at the White tower arn't the same as their book counterparts! First thing is that guys and girls can become Aes Sedai and Warders, the second thing is that the red ajah is probably the most men obsessed of all the ajahs XD

 

Mind, if you wish to avoid snugglebites and rum then believe me and avoid the place! And they just go crazy over the warders  8)

Welcome to DM!  I think those other orgs are all fine, but I personally think you should check out the Illuminators and the Aiel Orgs.  They are amazing!!

We're glad you came to check DM out, and hopefully you'll enjoy reading the craziness!
