Sira--my mistake, you are correct. I had thought I had added the fact I had been investigated after my first post, but it was his role I had posted after the original. Doesn't really matter, I still admitted that I was wrong, that it was simply a reaction to the events.

 

And as for my finger sitting on the reply button, it was because I get email notifications if anything happens, and I had received a pm...so I kind of knew what was going on ahead of time. Point in fact, I wasn't the only person posting while Ilgross was writing out the scene. Alys posted before he even got to submit the post, and while I was still reading my pm. :P I don't think it fair to suspect someone because they happened to be on the forum when Ilgross posted information, or because I had received notification ahead of time...hence metagaming = bad.

I make it 16 players, 9 to lynch. I think the previous counter made it 8 to lynch? But it's always been a majority before.

 

Far Dareis Mai - I find your presence on the thread consistent with a very urgent need to get your claim in before your anonymous finder contact revealed your guilt, but I don't consider it additional evidence, as such. As you say, you weren't the only one. I was mostly just amused. ;)

 

I certainly believe that you now regret having mentioned that you were investigated. It validates your counter-claimant ahead of time and you wouldn't want that whatever team you're on. I'm pretty grateful, however ... because I'm quite certain that it inspired Vemynal to make his fake claim. ;) He couldn't have known that, not being a real finder, I could prove my identity by naming Kryos as the second recipient of the message.

Kryos, something just occurred to me.

 

Far Dareis Mai quoted the message I sent to her word for word, capslock and all. You must have recognised it as the same message you had received. She was even replying to your post at the time. Why didn't you mention that you had received the same message?

Wait...I'm slow. Pieces just clicked for me. Vemy did say after I mentioned being investigated that he had examined me last night. While he didn't say explicitly that my pm stating that I was being examined was a result of his Findering, he certainly implied it. If Sira is telling the truth (and I am willing to give her the benefit of the doubt for now, since she kind of validated her claim by Kryos's confirmation of his pm), then this -could- certainly show that Vemy is an evil lying liar who lies. (in case I die, I wanted  to say it just one more time, for the people at home! lol ;) ).

In fairness, I asked him specifically and Vemynal said that he didn't know if his investigation had triggered the message to you. I suspect this is because he knew somebody had caused the message and it wasn't him - and he may have guessed from my question that it was me. My personal suspicion is that he saw your comment as a delicious opportunity from heaven and jumped on it. After all, what is the hypothetical real finder going to do? Make a third counter-claim? Not too convincing.

 

It's, er, just occurred to me that Vemynal might have killed me tonight thinking that I was a finder if I hadn't outed myself ...

Personally, I don't see 3 mafia teams as being plausible, even if there is only 1 person on 1 of the teams. Its just too out of balance for the innocents IMO.

 

I expect the other factions are thinking the same thing about their own chances. So long as they're all worried, the game is balanced. In a four-faction game each faction should have a 25% chance of winning.

I'm going to help you all from having to read uber lots of postages by not saying my reasoning, because y'know what? Everybody else has for me.

And yeah, I do realize I'm making myself a top-candidate for a night kill by the mafia because there's not exactly all the much info I've given to the game, or that would be gained from killing me.

On the contrary, I think your voting for the Finder even though you would gain more information voting someone else puts you on the top of the lynching list, rather than nightkill. :P

Ok wow...5 pages of posts to go through after getting home from work is alot in one day. Twitch I just want to know why you would vote for someone who has claimed finder, yes she may be being aggressive but she seems to have reason. Yes people constantly lie in this game and false claim. The reason why I would pick DPR to be mafia/evil over FDM is because he did agree with her claim to his role. I'm not so sure how much I believe his coming up 50/50 mafia/innocent when being viewed, it seems like a scape goat since we know it is just role reveal on death not alignment.

Well.  Let me explain why I am not around much on here before anyone asks.  I wake up at...oh, say 6:30 - 7:00 am and then I have to go to school.  School lasts from 7:45 am - 2:15 pm on Tuesday - Friday.  School lasts from 7:45 am - 1:15 pm on Mondays.  I have weekends off.  Just getting that out of the way.

 

I seems that the majority of the activity happens when I'm asleep and at school.  How wonderful.  ;D

I hope you understand that I wouldn't intentionally doctor a vote count. As well as being impractical, since anyone can disprove it, it's just poor form. Players have a right to an accurate, up-to-date vote count.

Sira, you DID doctor the vote, albeit not intentionally. There are now 10 votes on Wes (who I am not laughing at because I am more apprehensive about trusting someone other than myself) because I have two votes to my name.

Here's an idea. Now IF it's true and they are two finders there may well be two healers, but one with something similar to Vemy's (if he's telling the truth).

 

Maybe the true one (full time healer), saves ALys tonight and the part time one save FDM. That way both don't do the same. And if FDM is the finder we keep her and Alys who seems to be confirmed innocent is saved too.

 

Personnally I would like to see Sira viewed, as she has been vocal throughout.

 

Why do I think that we have been guided away from looking for mafia and concentrating on serial killers. It will interesting to see the result of his death, if we get much.
