so i was thinking today what are the best hearo death sceans ever shot.  i have to say my favorites would have to be

 

1. spock in star trek II

2. william wallace in breaveheart

3. neo in the matrix  (the first time he died)

4. john books (john wayn) in the shootist

5. frank dunn (mel gibson) in gallipoli

 

of corse there are a lot more bad guys get killed in the movies too so some of the best bad guy deths would have to be

 

1. johnney ringo in tombstone

2. kahn in star trek II

3. fred c dobbs  (humfry bogart) in the treasure of the sierra madre

4. commodus (Joaquin Phoenix) in gladiator

5. not quite a death but same thing... percy, the mean gaurd from the green mile
