Today I have only looked at the possibilities. You have said it is definitely me or Dice, let's discuss that (?) and your reaction has been odd. Like why spend so long on Ed, when I was saying that you were the one that was suspicious? Deflection and distraction. 

 

If you are a wolf, fair play, but I don't see that your behaviour today is consistent with thinking that it is definitely me or Dice, you seem rather concerned about other explanations. But whatever, I doubt anyone is listening to me. But just in case, for old time's sake, lol.

Even as the tension rose and suspicion settled over camp like fog, he kept talking.
Not to save himself, but to steady the others.
To help. To make sense of what was happening.

 

But fear doesn't wait for answers.

It only needs a direction.

 

One by one, the group turned toward him.
Not in anger. Not in certainty.
Just in fear.
And fear, when shared, becomes action.

They took him to the edge of the woods.
They killed him.
Quietly. Together.

 

The forest swallowed him without a scream.
No echo. No sign. Just absence.

 

Later, someone searched his things.
Inside his bag was a notebook, half-filled with questions.
Careful thoughts. Nothing certain.
But everything meant to help.

 

That night, the fire crackled and popped like it was trying to cover the silence.
